Android --> iPhone 6 Converts, raise their hands.

Returning to ios from a 2 year hiatus. Got the note 2, and then note 3. Insanely happy that there is a big boned iphone. Will probably snag a one plus one as well and run it from time to time.

There are many reasons I'm coming back, but honestly its mostly work related. All androids are blacklisted from our companies VPN, and as someone who works in the field it makes my life difficult. Pumped to be able to log into my systems via phone instead of lugging, a ipad or laptop around.

Will seriously miss my spen, themer launcher, and my removable batteries.

Seriously looking forward to having a harmonious apple eco system with my ipad, mac book air, and imac again. Also as "good" as the camera was on the note 3 there is something about the way photos look coming out of a iphone that blows them away. Bit bummed they stuck with 8mp. I will have a 4k TV in the near future so I want higher resolution.

Next friday can't come soon enough.

Samsung Galaxy S4 > iPhone 6 128gb

I never liked iphones, however I used to have an old ipod touch and ipod touch 5G which were practically like an iphone without the obvious phone capabilities.
When I received the iOS7 update on my ipod touch 5 I fell in love with it but still the screen on the available iphones were too small for my taste.

iphone 6 size + touch ID + iOS8 + Yosemite integration = the bomb!

So I sold my SG4 and ipod touch 5 and ordered the iphone 6, in the meantime I'm on a crappy phone which barely sends SMS! :p

How much were you able to sell your SG4 for? I'll be going from that to an iPhone 6 as well. I'll miss the smilies, being able to load and play my own videos, having default Google software (maps, calendar, gmail, finance), adding in an SD card to upgrade storage, 1080p screen, 2gb of RAM and 13 megapixel camera though.

note 2 is a great phone, if apple didn't make a 5.5 inch phone i would of bought the note 4.... But iTunes the camera and their touch id blow samsung out the water.. I just had to buy a Jackery power brick to supplement the lack of removal battery..

Most people on the planet hate iTunes.
Samsung cameras are better. The Note 4 has a 16Mp shooter with optical stabilisation and 2160p video. There is a 3.7Mp forward facing camera which is capable of recording 1080p video.
Touch ID is better than Samsung's variant but that feature would never be anywhere on my list when it comes to dealbreakers.
The Note 4 has three times as much RAM, a quad core processor, a better screen and a removable battery. All in all, it's an amazing piece of hardware....IF you can live with Android.

I'm gonna miss a lot of features from my S4, I know... I'm also switching because I had so many problems with he USB port connector on all my Samsung phones. Also, after the KitKat upgrade the GPS will not fix my position properly - it was a bug not a hardware problem and Samsung does not deploy updates as often as Apple does to fix these issues.

I live in Argentina, our phone prices are crazy so. Converting the price to dollars, I sold it for around USD 717,00 - this will sound crazy to anyone living in US were it costs half the price.

Technically, yes, in that I'm currently using a Nexus, and will be owning an iPhone 6.

But I bought this phone 2 years ago before the 5 came out. I wanted to try the android environment so I could test the competition. Used the 5 until 2 weeks ago when I gave it away in anticipation of the 6.

Moving from Sony Z Ultra to iPhone 6 plus 128. I really hate finding out apps I wanted aren't always compatible with my phone and constantly having to delete apps to fit on Android's 16 gb internal storage limitation.

Not converting, just going to give it another shot. The 5s did not last long because of its size and mediocre battery life. The new ones will eliminate the size certainly, we'll see about battery life.

This thread doesn't apply to me but I've always preferred iPhones to a android software phone. I bought the very first iphone and every single one of them after that. Phone I had before the first iphone was a Motorola Razr. This is the only time I won't have all the iPhones that have came out. Which the one I won't get is the iphone 6 because I ordered the iphone 6 plus. But I look at tr android program on other phones and I just don't like it. Not talking **** about it either. Just for me, it looks tacky compare to ios. And for some reason, I don't know if it's the phones or android OS but every time I use one or help my parent's with theirs, I feel every time I touch the screen buttons, I feel like it lags. Like there is just a split second of lag ten it goes to whatever screen I pressed. I hate that. I really do.

I've been on Android since day 1, I picked up the HTC G1 on Tmobile the day it launched. Followed it up with a Samsung Galaxy S, then back to HTC with the One S.

My reasons for staying away from an iPhone so long is because I liked having a screen bigger than 3.5/4", and I liked having wifi calling for I travelled internationally. This new iPhone fixed that so now I've got a 6+ pre-ordered, though I'm no stranger to iOS as I have an iPad 3 and rMini.

I'm going to keep my Oneplus One and alternate with my new IPhone 6 plus depending on my mood. It's great to have choices!

I've been on both sides as well from the S3 to iPhone 5 and iPhone 5 to S4. Going back to iOS this time due to the bigger screen.

I like having both platforms. My last iPhone was a 3G and I've probably owned at least 20 Android phones since... maybe more. Just sold my iPad mini for an nvidia shield tablet and I'm shelving my Moto X for the iPhone 6.

"Raise hand"
Here is my journey :

iPhone 2g --> iPhone 3gs --> HTC Touch Pro 2 --> HTC HD2 --> Samsung Flip Phone (briefly :( ) --> Note 1 (briefly) --> White Note 2 (currently) --> Gold iPhone 6 Plus 64gb ( on 09/19 :cool:).

Same reason as others, I had iPhone 3gs (a tiny little cutie that I still keep) before switching a gigantic Note 2. I didn't upgrade to Note 3 because there was no features that tempted me. But now, when Apple makes 5.5 inch phone, I'm fortunate to have enough "Benjamin Franklins" for it :D. Excitedly waiting for my first ever enormous :apple: iphone :)

I'm sick of getting a new Android phone and waiting for a bootloader to get unlocked. The hackers put a ton of work in on iOS to give us a jailbreak, as I don't enjoy not having full control over my phone. I mean you can't even move your icons around on the screen without a Jailbreak. Jailbreak really does give you a ton of customization options that really help bring iOS closer to what Android can do. Bought the only thing I'm missing is home screen widgets, which really I dont need to know the weather on my home screen that bad. Just a novelty, but I love my jailbroken iPad Mini Retina. Still learning the whole jail break thing tho, 6 ipads and I've only jailbroken one device, and have yet to had to upgrade once jailbroken. Going to have to figure out how to restore my ipad so I can upgrade to iOS 8, but I think I will wait for the iOS 8 jailbreak to come outbefore upgrading my iPad Mini.

Are you Android guys former Root/Rom'ers? Planning on Jailbreak?

I've been back to Apple for about 9 months now. I've jailbroken all my iPhones because I liked the customization. With iOS 8 I'm probably still going to jailbreak only because I like having contact photos next to my texts in the conversation lists and also the ability to customize the messages app. I'm totally bummed they put that feature (pics next to text convos) only on the Plus. If they'd put it on the regular 6 I probably would forego the jailbreak.

HTC Hero -> HTC EVO 4G -> Motorola Photon -> Nexus S 4G -> EVO LTE -> Atrix HD -> DROID RAZR MAXX -> DROID RAZR MAXX HD -> DROID DNA -> GALAXY NOTE 2 -> iPhone 4 -> iPhone 5 32GB -> iPhone 6 128GB (Contemplating LG G3).
