I'm going to keep my Oneplus One and alternate with my new IPhone 6 plus depending on my mood. It's great to have choices!

My situation exactly! Going to keep my 1+1 and alternate every now and then between it and my new iPhone 6 .

iPhone 2g->iphone 3gs->iphone 4->samsung galaxy s captivate->htc one x->iphone 5 -> motorola moto x->galaxy s4->galaxy note 3->iphone 6+

I like having both platforms. My last iPhone was a 3G and I've probably owned at least 20 Android phones since... maybe more. Just sold my iPad mini for an nvidia shield tablet and I'm shelving my Moto X for the iPhone 6.

20 love to see that list lol

I was considering getting both of those until I tried a G3 and felt it was just too big.

For me the G3 was a great fit...and my max fit anything bigger aka iPhone 6 plus would be too much for me. I actaully ordered an iPhone 6 Plus at first but changed my order to the 6 shortly after

I own a G3, and compared it to a print out of the actualy size of the iPhone 6 plus. The width was practically identical, no noticable difference at all, the phone was just a bit taller, and the iphone is slimmer.

I may switch to the iPhone. Currently have an S4 and Moto X that I go back and forth on. I went from HTC OG Incredible (probably my favorite phone ever), iPhone 4s, Galaxy S4, Moto X. Looking at a 6+ 64GB but that is quite expensive. I've been holding onto an upgrade since January in anticipation for the last 2 weeks of releases. Really nothing blew me away, I was set on the new Moto X until I saw the specs.

I'm proud to switch back. I've never been a fanboy of just Apple/iOS/iPhones or just Android/Google. I've always been willing to switch back and forth and admire the pros/cons of each. Spent the past year with the Note 3 but I'm ready to head back to Apple.

I've been on Android since day 1, I picked up the HTC G1 on Tmobile the day it launched. Followed it up with a Samsung Galaxy S, then back to HTC with the One S.

My reasons for staying away from an iPhone so long is because I liked having a screen bigger than 3.5/4", and I liked having wifi calling for I travelled internationally. This new iPhone fixed that so now I've got a 6+ pre-ordered, though I'm no stranger to iOS as I have an iPad 3 and rMini.

^^^This describes my situation. I am a Verizon customer and the Iphone was not available to me when it was introduced. I have gone from Blackberry to Samsung Fascinate to Samsung Charge (hated it) to my current phone, Droid Razr.

I decided to take the plunge because some of what was holding me back are now available:
Larger screen
Possibility of A Swype or Swype type keyboard
Possibility of simultaneous voice and data
Swiping up for settings shortcut (Apple addressed with IOS 7)
Shortcut to most frequently dialed (coming in IOS 8)

Things I am going to miss...
-The ability to change or customize my home screen without jail breaking
-Assigning swipe gestures for icons to access shortcuts to applications
-The way my phone currently handles simultaneous voice (the Droid Razr is as thin as the new Iphone 6 if you compare specs. and it has the antennas needed to do this. I know Apple is not interested in making this accomodation).
-Notification light. The people I know that have iPhones do not constantly check their phone, so they potentially don't know they have missed a call or text until hours later because the notification on the screen is no longer there when they get back to their phone.

I am the last in my family to get an Iphone. I know there will be some adjustments as there are with any new device. I am looking forward to learning how to use and integrate my new phone into an already established Apple ecosystem.

My iPhone 5 lasted a month before I moved to the original Xperia Z. And then moved to the LG G2. The G2 is a solid phone. No faults except that there is a lack of expandable storage. My 32GB is almost full. Moving back to iOS, iPhone 6, 64GB, Space Grey.

I just pre-ordered an iPhone 6+. This is my first iPhone and thought I would never switch. I think it was the larger screen size and the itch to try something different that did it for me. I am upgrading from the LG G2.

iPhone 2g - HTC HD2 - iPhone 4 - iPhone 5 - Galaxy S3 - Galaxy S4 - Galaxy Note 3

Now going back to iPhone for the bigger screen. iPhone 6+

I had 2 deal breakers. The lack of 3rd party keyboards and screen size. With iOS 8 allowing 3rd party keyboards, and both Swype and SwiftKey being released today, and the larger screens Im on board! I never thought id switch either, I just love the Apple eco system way more than Google Play.

I can say confidently that with the release of the 6 and 6 Plus, they have pretty much cornered the high end phone market. The only reason allot people were going android(at least, at my university) was the larger screens and to be hipster and have a phone other than iPhone.(Yes, people literally told me this) Unless you prefer Android, hate iOS, or buy into the Android spec wars, there is little reason to get anything else.

Samsung especially knows they are in trouble, as the main reason people got their phones, Apple is now going to dominate. People certainly didn't get the Galaxy S/Note phones because of Touchwiz.
