Doesn't even matter even if I bought 22 computers and purchased 13 iPhones.
That's not even a drop in the ocean...

6S works, one does not have to leave Apple ecosystem.....

You get the comcept of loyalty ?

And trust me, if each customer bought 22 computer and 13 iPhones, Apple would be ALOT richer.....it makes a huge difference actually. It's about conversion.....but let's leave that alone.

In my opinion they lost an excellent customer, but feel free to make sarcastic comments , each to their own.

And why should I be forced to carry a dongle?

Your completely missing the point around accessibility / use ability , short story my £1100 iPhone 7 investment has been returned to Apple and I'm back on my 6S, no stupid dongle , and superior reception . And that is what this thread is about , the first part is the crap Intel modem.
[doublepost=1477842451][/doublepost]

There would have been no Apple company to even launch rhe iPod, let alone the iPhone, had it not been for the loyal user base who bought the computers. Do some research

These products do expect a certain amount of metal responsibility for the ability to use them.

Enjoy the 6S, I am enjoying my 7+. We all have choices.

Maybe Apple will listen and bring back the jack on the 8!

The only loyalty you should have is to something that suits your needs.
About what each person claims that they bought and spend I rather not get in to that either;)
Its not sarcasm its reality. If something didnt work for me I wouldnt cry about it on an online forum. I'd do something about it and use something that I like.
End of story without a tissue:D

I'm reading a lot of these replies and messages, being neutral because I have no financial means to either Apple or any other company.
I've learned this: Some people feel that when a product does not meet their "wants" (not needs), it is an automatic fail of the company.
They do not want to purchase a product that does fit their wants, they simply wish to stomp their feet and demand they receive everything they so desire, exactly the way they want it. To disagree means you're wrong.

If anyone questions this infantile expression of being spoiled, the person in question usually results in calling them a name, stating they're blind, or many other things. Normally attempting to put the other person into a defensive stance. And usually displaying an uneducated stance by refusing to accept solutions to their problems.

I dont understand a persons desire to whine and complain like a child when they have the very ability to solve their own issues. Do you want your phone to continue to use 1878 technology? Good, then you also drive a horse and buggy to work correct? You know, because you want old tech in your present life.

Its not anyone's problem that you forget anything, unable to adjust, want this/that, etc.. Go find a product that solves YOUR problems. Dont go around whining like a girl scout when you're not getting what you want. Feel free to call your mother and explain your self perceived problems to her. I'm sure she'll make a call to Cupertino and set them right.

Remember, its not the fail of anyone or anything other than yourself. I suggest we all learn from this and try to grow up and be adults.

Having over 1800 posts on Mac rumours, are you neutral?

A neutral poster is one that is not bought into the apple ecosystem, from your reply it sounds like that is not the case

It's a forum where people can share thier love, frustrations, likes, dislikes etc for all things apple.

FYI financial means is not a measure of neutrality....far from it. In my opinion the individuals on forums on the highest horses, judge and set the rules for others to follow. Just let people express themselves ......

Now good sir, are you sure you don't dabble in sarcasm ?

FYI the internet has moved in, social media is all about whining and gloating..... brace yourself ;)

My wife replaced her iPhone 6 with iPhone 7. It's been few weeks now, and as a non-techie person, here's her review: feels and looks the same, but locks up and looses signal a lot more often. She wants her old phone back. This is the first time since iPhone 3 that she doesn't like a new iPhone. I'm pretty sure she's not the only one.

Then yesterday, my 6 year old daughter wanted to listen to PBS Kids. She brings her kid headphones, aaaand fail - we already lost the stupid dongle. Had to use my 6S Plus instead.

YOU lost the adapter and that's an IPHONE fail? Wow, if I lost the keys to my car, that would be a Dodge fail?

Every other phone doesn't need an adapter to use standard headphones. No adapters to lose.

If every other car used fingerprint id to open and start, then yes it would be a failure on Dodge if their cars needed a key, which could be lost.

Before the iPhone every other smartphone didnt do a lot of things either.
Its part of innovation. Embrace the changes and move on with technology.
Most device manufacturers will do the same soon.
Just like they all stopped qwerty keyboard smartphones with 100 little buttons and they adopted the touchscreen interfaces;)
Same way we went from VCR tapes, to DVD's to digital downloads and streaming.

$969 iPhone versus $750 S7 Edge for a diffference of $219 isn't relatively the same.

At least you could compare a same size iPhone with the S7 Edge instead of the most expensive iPhone to it. A Note 7 is about the same as an iPhone 7 Plus.

Are you sure there's no other phone that needs an adapter? You sure? And not every car out there uses fingerprint to open and start, so that's kinda a stupid comparison. Apple GAVE you an adapter just like Dodge GAVE you a key. It's not Dodge's fault if you lose it, just like it's not Apple's FAILURE if you lost the adapter.

So you forgetting your dongle is now Apples fault, too.
Of course it's apple or someone else's fault. Taking personal responsibility is so outdated.

I lost my dongle within 24 hours of getting my new iPhone 7 Plus. I didn't know I should have blamed Apple. So correcting that error here and now.

Bad apple.....rotten apple......shame on you apple.

If Apple removed touch id and replaced it with a NFC dongle that could unlock the iPhone, who's fault would it be if the dongle was lost?

You guys keep repeating the same exact thing over and over and over. Like half the post in this thread are some variation of how Apple can't be blamed when a user loses the dongle. All of them bursting with originality.

The OP never suggested that. The point was entirely different.

Common sense its missing from this thread.
You and a few others just repeat over and over that it's Apple's fault and how they screwed all their customers.
And then continue the whining and how Apple sucks and other nonsense.

See picture in my previous post, buddy. You are the undisputed world champion of senseless posts!

funny thread

got my wireless headphones today. Think that will be me going wireless going forward.

Screen sizes on the S7 Edge and iPhone 7 are the same if you are referring to screen size at 5.5 inches. . The iPhone has a larger footprint so I don't see why that is relevant. Also, the Note 7 is a larger 5.7 inch screen.

As far as memory, the S7 Edge is a micro SD expandable version.
