Apple already give you the doogle which means it is not a fail, you knowing it and purchase it and now you lost the doogle is your issue not Apple. Sometimes things need change and if nobody lead it then things won't change.

you guys carry your 3.5mm dongle around with you?

All the 7 owners I know either use the supplied headphones or use wireless. I'm yet to meet one that carries that dongle with them incase case someone wants to plug legacy headphones into thier phones.

Apple fail here is accessibility.

I really have no idea where my stupid dongle is, and a few times I've left home in a hurry forgetting my wireless headphones and my gym and office headphone that I have were useless.....or should I say the iPhone was useless, I had to use my iPod that I use for the gym.

I'm not impressed with the Intel modem, my GF got my 6S and it has superior reception to my 7. Apple dropped the ball here being greedy

My dongle remains on my headset. I don't have to carry it separately. The connection is so tight that I have no problem keeping it attached to my headset when not in use. Who woulda thunk it?

If your daughter is using your wife's phone regularly, why not just leave the dongle attached to her headphones?

Don't see why so upset over a dongle. I have personally not missed the head phone jack. Bluetooth > 3.5.

But that's just me..

i do agree. but the audio quality with bluetooth isn't the same yet. it will catch up soon but for people who dj and make music sometimes the 3.5 and the 1/4" will still be audio peoples go to. but thats a small percentage.

I'm still confused as to why someone would purchase a device without a headphone jack knowing they would need an adapter that was prone to being lost.

Apple is not forcing anyone to purchase these phones, I myself didn't even bother upgrading.

I don't *need* an adapter at all.

I've been primarily BT for going on close to two years now. On the rare instance I use wired, I use the ones that came in the box.

No drama.
