Actually, I don't see the point of the iPod Touch. I'm not even sure of the utility of the iPad...
At, say, 300 bucks, I cannot see how people buys the Touch. For 200 more bucks you have a much larger iPad, or probably at a very similar price you'll have soon the iPad nano...

Too many similar products to track, for me.

It's an entrance iOS device that allows for usage of apps without being tied to a contract with AT&T. People would get this over the iPad if they want an iOS device in their pocket that is not an iPhone.

I carry around my iPod Touch in my pocket. An iPad would never fit.

For what and why?

Have everyone forgot the main function of an PMP/Mp3 player? It is to play music first, then everything else! Why does an mp3 play need a camera or why do the nano have a camera I don't use ever?!

You can fit an iPad in your pocket!? ;) but I agree with you, not everyone wants an iOS device as large as an iPad or want to be in a contract with AT&T. The iPod Touch has a perfect marketable audience.

mP3's have been evolving for over a decade. Now it's time to step up the game. Just like cellphones, they were made to make calls only. Now it's 2010, and we have serious competition and feature failures. That's just the way life is.

The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth... Wait, I'm getting side tracked.
It's come to be different times. The ipod changed music forever. Now it's changing gaming, internet, and the mobile computer. In my opinion, the money I spend on an ipod every few years is worth it just for the great music playback. But I love everything else I can do it on too. If you don't agree, then buy a CD player.

now can we get some leaks about a rear camera?

No leak of a rear facing camera/iphone 4 style hardware is a good sign that they will be included on the next ipod touch model. If pictures labeled "ipod touch 4 leaked pictures" were released, showing the same design as the iphone 4, they would just be lost in the water. The reason these photos are making their rounds is because they are unique.

:)

It really sounds like they aren't aiming at you. ;) Perhaps you aren't as ridiculously cheap as I am - I want an iPhone but not the monthly bills, so the touch is perfect.

Too big

, or probably at a very similar price you'll have soon the iPad nano...

Still too big even if it is 7 inches! Like those huge honking droid phones that are more like sub-netbooks. My pockets aren't that big and I don't carry a purse! ;)

yes :(

p.s
are u trying to increase your internet ego ? :)
go tell someone else that u have bigger dick ;)

No, I'm sorry, but let's stick to the subject... and no one wants to read that last part...

By-the-way, what's up with the no-spaces after comma's or periods, the "," instead of ".", and spaces before the "?". Is it foreign or something?

The question is, can you fit it in a UtiliKilt? And yes, I mean it's great for kids too, I know a number of young kids that have them and love them. So many different places it fits in nicely.
