Yeah when I had it, There were about 10 faces I think but many of the ones in that video were not options when paired with iOS

I remember some of those watch faces from the video when I had the Zenwatch 2 paired with my iPhone.

Had what? The Huawei watch or a watch running Android wear?

Both, I had the Huawai watch and of course running Android Wear on my iPhone, but the watch comes with I think it was 12 or so faces and the Android Wear app has 4 pre installed but they sucked but one of the big draw backs with Android Wear and iOS is you cant download more watch faces.

Maybe an early release? I've bought my watch a month after the Europian release and had over fifty watch faces from the start. A couple of weeks ago they also put some extra watch faces with an update witch you can customize. I like the watch faces and they look great and sharp. I use different watch faces combined with the steel link band and my leather bands.

I'm a big fan of circulair displays and the idea of a watch face store as you can read in this thread from 2011. So I really love the watch faces that the Huawei watch offers combined with Android wear. They did a great job and it works with iOS.

Fair enough, I also would like to see more functionality. Simple stuff like showing the picture of my contacts when they call me. Seems like an "Android only" function but this should work with my iOS address book. But not bad for a first gen Android watch that runs on iOS.

I bought mine last month but like I said it had around 12 maybe 15 if I remember but I know no where near the amount in your video. Odd.

Holy skeumorphism, Batman!

It's time to leave the past behind and step into the future.

Here's an overview of all the watch faces on the Huawei watch running the Android wear app on iOS:

I've got more watch faces right now but most of them are in the video.
Wow that looks great. There are so many awesome faces. Makes me very jealous. Hopefully apple releases a round watch one day.

And I have the option to do so if I want. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my Apple Watch. :(

From really modern

The customization for the watch faces are endless. Apple needs to allow the devs to create new watch faces.

I just went out and bought the Huawai watch to give it another try, I do love how beautiful the watch and faces are, nice having a round one and a square one now.

@sumsingwong - Looks great!

Personaly, I love the way Samsung (hate the brand) designed the UI for the Gear S2. They found a way to design a circular interface that works great with the watch. I just dont't like the finishing of both products. The basic watch is way to sporty (and plastic) and the classic looks a bit to shiny to me. Don't know how to say it but it's like "Japanse luxury". Therefor I bought the Huawei watch. It just looks like a real watch and the finishing is very very nice. Got a sapphire face and the battery runs for almost two days on "always on" mode that shows a nice OLED black and white whatch face. Something I don't like about the Apple watch. It looks dead with a black screen.

The Android wear OS looks outdated but the Huawei watch and watchfaces are the closest to a real watch and really look great.

Im not a fan of the Moto 360 due to that flat tire look
I really like the Moto360 but never picked it up because of the flat tire. I was disappointed when I heard gen 2 had the same thing. That's when I picked up my LG watch Urbane LTE 2nd Edition. Does the Huawei Watch come with Marshmallow?

The Huawai watch just works off Android Wear but I am not sure what other Android software it has. Its a beautiful watch though :)

That's been available for a while now. Come on, man. You have to keep up. lol
I wasn't speaking of an accessory, but the smartphone screen itself in the shape of an old school handset - - it makes just about as much sense as having a smartwatch shaped like an old school Rolex.

It's a watch. lol it tells time. What do you want it to look like?

his point was that he disagrees with people bashing the apple watch for not being skeumorphic and taking the same design decisions taken by a lot of the android wear, round watches.

making a round smartwatch involves some trade offs, such as UI changes and such.

in short, he said just because a rolex is round, an apple watch doesn't have to be.
