Read the fine print, the GC for the $50 doesn't work if you cancel or return the associated order. I guess I could use the $100 then cancel the order? What would they do at that point? Take away my birthday?

That pisses me off even more that you got up at 3am but still got the shaft.
My 9/9 pre-order through Apple at 5am EST has always been slated for 9/30 delivery. Now, the BB order being 9/28 - they're so close I may not be able to cancel one before it ships after I receive the other. Yet, I don't want to put all of my eggs in one basket and get screwed waiting even longer.
I think the fine print means that the $50 value is lost if you cancel or return the order that you use the $50 code on.
I ordered the Series 1 from best buy. I have NOT recieved any email. Still shows as processing to me. I went on Bestbuy.com and checked that series 1 is still available to pre order. And if you pay for 1 day shipping , you get it by Friday. But when i click on series 2 , you cant even pre order it. It just says coming soon. I think for everyone who pre ordered the series 1 , may still get it on Friday. More demand for series 2 than 1 ofcourse.
Same email. I'm bummed. I cancelled my ~26th Apple order to get release day from BB. Now BB is saying the 28th. I may just try a few stores on Friday and see if I get lucky. I never shop at BB, so not sure what to use the $50 on.
UGH! Same for me! I'll be buying a 2m cable for my watch and trying the local Apple Store on Friday. This really ticks me off. I knew it was too good to be true.
How do you buy AppleCare at Best Buy if you don't buy it at the same time purchasing the watch? I know the Apple Store will sell it to you after inspecting the watch for damage, but I don't know if Best Buy will do that.
It's gives me the option to purchase it now BUT when I clicked that link it charged my BBCard so I'm going to see if I can purchase it with that coupon.

I don't know either, but I just buy Apple Care on the online chat with Apple Support once I know I'm keeping my product. So much easier than going to an actual apple store, they send you a secure link to put your credit card. Very easy.
Here is something that is really interesting... Went buy my local best buy to see what i could get for $50 and was speaking the the Manager and he said
"we got a shipment of apple watch series 2 in today that will be for sale on friday at 10am." I had him verify that he actually had apple watch series 2 and he said "yeah, i even had an employee almost sell one today but it rings up $10,000 as a way to ensure it doesn't get sold by accident"
He wouldnt say how many he got but that there would definitely be enough to sell on friday morning.

Anyone that is using the 50 dollars to buy some sports bands,I found these bands on Amazon for 7.00 dollars. The reviews were great,I got mine today and you literally can't tell a difference between the apple bands and these. Maybe save you gift card for something else.
