Bought black leather for myself, red silicone for my wife.

Was happy with my leather one, then handled hers and the silicone one blew the leather out of the water in terms of quality feel and fitment. Power button was a little tough to press on the leather one, plus the sides of the leather one having no microfiber lining sucked since the silicone one is fully lined.

Returned the leather, got a blue silicone and a white silicone, couldn't be happier.

Neither have picked up lint or gotten even a tinge dirty with lots of handling.

Apple made a really nice product here with the silicone.

I bought a brown leather for my Space Grey phone but returned it for another color. They didn't have the black or blue leather in stock so I exchanged for a Grey silicone. I really like it. It feels great and doesn't add too much bulk. It adds a good amount of grip but doesn't turn my pockets inside-out.

Any buyer's remorse over Apple silicone case?

yes I'm returning mine for a couple of reasons. Hides the design adds bulk (a SMALL amount) but most importantly it interferes with my curved glass edges and swiping! I still think it's a really great case though.

Those complaints would apply to just about any case except the super slim ones that are so thin they don't even extend past the camera enclosure.

Returned my Midnight Blue leather case for a Blue silicone case and I couldn't be happier. It just feels good.

I bought the blue silicone case for my iPhone earlier and I love it -- it's exactly the type of easy to grip, soft-touch material that I wanted. Now I don't constantly fear the phone slipping out of my hands.

And so far, surprisingly, lint doesn't seem to be much of an issue with this case at all.

Count me as another person who switched from Apple's Leather to Silicone case. The grip is much superior and scrolling with my thumb along the vertical edge of the phone feels much smoother.

I also converted from the leather case to a silicone case and I couldn't be more pleased. I prefer the look of the leather but really I am looking for a functional case and I think the silicone provides that. It has a good feel, is easier to push the buttons with, and I can wipe it down which is important for me in my line of work.

I liked the silicone but the issue was that it never stayed clean. I thought it was more functional than the leather and more durable, but the inability to remain "clean" drove my OCD crazy.

Yeah it's driven me to be OCD crazy too with the green one - to the point where I actually think the green "feels" different than the black. Even though they're the same product! I'm returning the green to stop the madness and just be happy with the black one. I haven't had a problem with it being clean though as it still seems nice and bright.

I own the blue Apple silicone case and I've used it for about 2 weeks now and I love it. It feels great in my hands, it doesn't slip around on the center console of my car, the inside is lined with felt and its overall a very sturdy case.

The form factor is perfect for this case and matches the phones design perfectly vs most of the cases anyone is ordering now were based on guessing the dimensions.

The buttons are very easy to push and the colors are very tasteful. After 2 weeks of use there is also no dirt spots or any signs of wear.

I personally think Apple should have put a little more thought into naming the silicone case because they ultimatley made people think of those flimsy cheap 2 dollar silicone cases on eBay just by adding the word 'Silicone"

As someone who has used the case daily for 2 straight weeks on my 6 Plus, I highly recommend this case.

I am looking at getting at either the leather or silicone....will feel it out in the store....my only concern is in my car I have a phone dock that's attached to my my CD player and I am curious if the bottom of the phone will scratch up from the docks plastic??? I'm very careful, but I'm getting to the point I can't find a nice basic case for the 6 plus!! Anyone seeing any scratches on the bottom of their phones already?

bought the red one because of the product red... if im already paying $39 for a case might as well have $1 or something of that go into something cool

its nice, but i can see myself getting over it. the iphone looks amazing as it is. happens with every iphone i have. i buy a case first day, then i stop caring about the phone and end up going naked altogether and enjoying the awesome design

Does anyone else find the silicone to be MORES slippery than the leather? I switched today and this thing is so smooth it's falling out of my hands. The leather didn't after a little while

I had the gray one and I had to exchange it because a piece of silicone broke off and while I was there I decided to switch to the product red. It's quite bright but it looks pretty cool. Unfortunately the camera cutout isn't quite perfect, but I'll survive.

Same here, the "bulk" gets in the way of me swiping from the edge which I have to do a lot on the iPhone 6 plus since I can't reach the top left to go back on screens. Also it makes is just wide enough that it now makes the iPhone 6 plus too big for my hands. Naked it works perfectly so I'm waiting for a Caudabe Veil and/or a skin.

Buyer's remorse mostly for cost. I don't believe it's worth $40+ (after taxes) for a silicone case.

I have a Spigen Neo Hybrid. I removed it as well and I'm going naked. Played with the silicon and leather cases at Apple, same result - too much bulk for the curved glass. Awaiting a Shumuri skin case (0.3 mm).

The cut out on my red silicone for my 6 plus is exactly the same. It does annoy the OCD in me.

EDIT: I've returned the case this afternoon. The main reason for returning the Apple case was because at $49 (in Australia) I really want something with complete protection across the bottom.

Happy with my white Plus case. Ordered a set of colored stickers for the logo inset. Going to skin the phone (BSE) and use this case for when I need more protection. That's my plan :)

Oddly, so far, the white is not dirty. I did smear dark chocolate on it and it came off like nothing. Love the feel of it. It's what makes it nice. That and the pristine perfect lining that continues perfectly up the inside edge

I don't get the complaints about swiping. I took the case off and touched the areas that the case covers on the screen. They didn't register any input on the screen at all, so the case covers non-functional parts of the front. I've had no problems swiping with either the leather or silicone cases.

Are you using the back gestures? Such as in safari or settings? If you do that with the case off you can feel the curved edges and it makes it both easier and more enjoyable. The case has the lip there so if you try to swipe the same way then you will hit a rough hard stop. Yes the gestures still work but they just aren't as easy or enjoyable. Hope that makes sense.

Okay, I see what you're saying. However, the case doesn't remove that functionality, and I actually already make smaller back/forward swiping gestures so it doesn't bother me.

What's funny is I just took my silicone case off to try out the swiping and then typed a message, and the naked phone felt far less comfortable in my hands overall than when the case was on. I'll take general comfort over the more limited comfort of the swiping gestures.
