yes I'm returning mine for a couple of reasons. Hides the design adds bulk (a SMALL amount) but most importantly it interferes with my curved glass edges and swiping! I still think it's a really great case though.

I'm kind of in agreement, but it's not really a knock against the case. More like an argument against using any kind of case on this phone. I really prefer the way the phone feels without a case. It's more pleasant and also somehow seems a lot smaller and lighter (although that's probably mostly an illusion).

I ended up returning the case. It was white and tended to pick up stains (in this case, ink), it had no bottom protection and was a tad overpriced. About $5 to $15 too much. It was a very nice case though. Would have kept it if it weren't for the lack of bottom protection.

I have the red one on my 6 Plus. It has pros and cons like any case.

Pros:
1. Great fit
2. Nice feel and texture
3. Precise camera cut out
4. All buttons are responsive

Cons:
1. The exposed bottom. If they would have closed this up like the previous cases for the 5 and 5S it would have been perfect.
2. Cost. Then again this is an Apple product, what did you expect?

Overall I find myself shopping for cases on Amazon due to the exposed bottom. This is really the only flaw of the case IMO.

I dropped my Plus.

Was on the phone when dog pulled me a bit to say hi to someone and it fell from my ear all the way to the CONCRETE indoor floor.
It wasn't a pretty nice concrete floor either. it was rough and nasty.

My phone is pristine. Thank you Apple silicone case!

(PS - the case is pristine also which I'm rather shocked about.) Whew!

For those that returned it, are there any 3rd party cases (preferably see-through TPU) that also have the "lip" that covers the screen edge?

That's the one feature of the Apple silicone case that I want.

So far the only other 3rd Party cases at the Apple store is the Tech21 Evo Mesh for the iPhone 6. It is a TPU material, it has a front lip, and they do have a somewhat clear case.

Big fan of the Product Red Silicone case for iPhone 6 Plus.

I find the lack of bottom "protection" a feature. No more worries about wether or not the cheaper MFi Lightning cables I buy will fit or not. Was a big issue with the :apple: iPhone 5 Product Red case I used for a year (besides the leather wearing out).

I like how the sleep/wake and volume buttons "click" with the silicone case. To me, feels like the buttons do without a case.

The "picks up lint in a pocket" thing does happen, but it's nothing a swipe with a shirt or my fingers doesn't fix.

Highly recommended!

Nope

I love the red case on my i6 space grey. It does pick up some lint in different pockets but it's hardly noticeable on the red case and I just wipe if I want. It is grippy compared to the leather case but that's not an issue for me. Not worried about the bottom exposed either.

Initially no, but today I noticed a chunk missing from my "black" silicone case. It's on the bottom left side and probably happened while I was taking the phone out of the case. Of course it's been 16 days since I purchased it, so I'm out of the return window.

Edit: looks like there may be a 1 year warranty, I'm going to see if I can get it exchanged.

I tend to swap cases every few days depending on mood and anticipated usage, but no real regrets. I have have the black one. Picks up some lint but that's to be expected.

I have had the white silicone case for a week now and absolutely love it. Perfect fit, great feel and easily wipes clean. I'm usually one who purchases multiple cases to try to find the perfect one. I've found it in this case - love it.

With a full 3 weeks gone by now - still love this case. The white is easily cleaned and hadn't picked up any stains. This is the first time with a new phone that I haven't been tempted to buy endless cases to try to find the next one better. I have the silver phone and the white silcone is a perfect match, feels really good in hand and has a great grip.

Will it pick up lint or dust - yes if you set it down on a dirty surface - but it wipes up easily. I have always leaned towards white cases to match the white on my phone. I prefer the feel of TPU or rubbery type material but TPU is just awful the way it picks up staining and cannot be cleaned so usually my end all case is a white polycarbonate case. Silicone can go either way - I have kitchen utensils made of silicone and they don't pick up food stains. So I took a chance that the white silicone Apple case would be a silicone that didn't pick up stains and so happy it is exactly that. I usually clean it once a week with a leather cleaner and it continues to look like new.

Nope, not at all! I picked up a green silicone case yesterday for my space gray 6. Apple nailed it with this case! The fit, finish, feel, grip and look is fantastic! I also have an olive brown leather case, which I love as well.

For people who have had a silicone case from the beginning--any problems with staining? I'm a little concerned specifically about it getting stained from my jeans as a sometimes (not often) slip it in my back pocket.

I had the blue silicone case when I bought my phone on launch day but they way lint stuck to it made it gritty and uncomfortable in my hand. I took it back and got a leather case which was better but picked up really bad wear on the bottom front edges. Fortunately they let me return it and I picked up a white silicone case. I really like it but am afraid it will get stained, especially considering the stories I'm hearing of people's jeans staining the antenna lines on the back of the phone itself.

Am a month & a few days in using the :apple: Red silicone case; I wear jeans pretty much every day; zero stains.

i've had a white one since day one, not a single mark, blemish, discoloration, etc on it yet! Other than it getting stuck a bit in my pockets, i'm still loving it.

#1 Con - I so want to like this case but the bottom being exposed is an issue. Its great for being able to more easily remove the case but its so exposed. So far I like the Candyshell grip case but man I would like to have the Red silicone case.

I ended up selling my silicone case and replacing it with a Diztronic Matte. The bottom is now completely covered and I am much less nervous. In fact I dropped it yesterday in this case and all is well. So glad I switched cases before that happened!
