One one of my phones I've had nothing but white fronts since it became an option. I switched from silver to gold with the 6+ and continued with gold.
My second phone I had black fronts always until last year with the 6+ when I went for silver and instantly regretted it. Was very hard to distinguish which was which at quick glance. So I went back to space gray for the 6s+.

I've owned every iPhone since the 3G and they've always had the black bezel. I almost switched to white/silver on the 5s but chickened out at the last second. Just before the 6+ was announced I had every intention on getting white. Then I saw the black/SG and thought it looked super sharp. This time I finally did it and preordered white/gold. Part of the reason was to finally give white a try. The other reason was that I wanted it to feel like a new phone. Switching up the colour makes it feel that way.
But I thought once you go black, you never go back? Maybe that's just a rumor.

I felt like the colors looked more vibrant with the black bezel. I think it was because the white bezel was distracting for me at first.

Went with space grey. Last couple were either silver or gold. So I figured I would change it up this time. I like the look of the space grey.
My old 5 was the slate, which I liked at first but always liked the way the 5/5S looked in the white/silver so even before the 6 came out I had decided on the white. I soon realized after getting it though that to truly enjoy the curved edges and seamless design, black is the way to go... kind of like the apple watch, so I went with a space grey on my 6S
Going from Space Gray to Rose Gold. I want my phone bezels to be as white as the guilt that I'm feeling over partaking in this first-world time-waster. Like, damn.

I got the rose gold. i had white before, but i wanted the rose gold. I had black up until the iphone 5. I had white for the 5 and 6.
I've always had white iPhones since the white iPhone 4 but this year I'm going to try the gold. Looks very classy in my opinion.

I've had all black iPhones up until 5s I did gold then 6 plus in silver and now 6s plus in space gray. Love how the display blends into the black bezels.

I'm a switcher. I've had black since my first iPhone and never considered anything else until the 6S. Decided to change it up this time around and go with the white/silver combo. My thought process? My upgrade is in September 2016 and should fall right in line with the next release. If I hate the white, I'll jump back over in a year. The 7 will be here before we know it.
I had the original iPhone (no color choise) and white 3G, black 4, black 5, rose gold 6s. Really excited for a change!
I'm going from a space gray 6+ to a silver 6s+, which will match my silver iPad Air (and the eventual silver iPad Pro).
