Not defending them though. Complete balls up for anyone outside of US.
I am in wave 2 by looks of it, so hopefully this time next week I may see some change in my status, but have a feeling it might be the week after til anything moves.

Can you put your country and your order date please ? I just want to know if you receive it before the estimated date

I ordered a UK base model space grey immediately after ordering a Watch, which I ordered immedaitely after the store came back up.
Confirmation email for the macbook came in at 08:06 with an estimated delivery of 8th-14th May.
UPS says it will actually arrive on 6th May.
Anyone on 'preparing for dispatch', try searching by reference on UPS tracking, using your order number as the reference, you may see yours has actually already been handed to UPS.

There was a discrepancy at first for me, but the Apple site corrected to correlate with the UPS date, so probably the 6th is correct.

My order has changed to 'Dispatched' but my estimated delivery date is 11 May
That's quite a long time to deliver. Other people seem to be getting estimated delivery times of 6/7 May.

Mine too. Really hacked off to be honest. Especially as all the indications were that delivery would beat the earlier of the 2 estimates (in my case the 8th May).
What is more, I ordered as soon as possible on 10th April. Not pleased!

Did you get two delivery numbers as well? It seems that they're not releasing tracking information until 48 hours before the delivery.
I ordered almost immediately after the store opened and I've had to wait almost one calendar month after the release for a delivery. It just doesn't feel like it used to. I really think that they need some healthy competition to improve their approach.

I couldn't agree with you more! This has been a bloody awful launch, and my faith and trust in Apple is hugely diminished.
Yes, I got 2 delivery numbers as well. Strange.
Apple ships on 2-5 day delivery tariff. If UPS got them airside today - then delivery will typically 6th May. If not, then I doubt you will see them before 9th. Mine is still showing 6th.
Well, if the UPS tracker says the 6th, then 9 times out of 10 it'll be the 6th. They don't pluck a number out of the air.

No, sadly. It's only in the last 24 hours or so that UK orders placed on the 10th April (and then not all) have started to ship.
