any European members with status ''shipped''?

On the iCentre site in The Netherlands I saw when I order I new 12" MacBook I would get it next week (6 May), called them and that is true they said.....strange when Apple still is saying 4-6 weeks....
So I called Apple and they found it strange to hear that iCentre gets it before them but Apple didn't gave a direct answer to that question. He said that my target date is 29 May but with delay till 10 June before I get my new MacBook.

What should I do? Cancelling my order from Apple and ordering one at iCentre? Or just have the patient at wait till I get it from Apple?

I'm in a similar situation in the UK - I've got one ordered from Apple with a predicted date of 1st-12th June, but I later ordered from an Apple Premium Reseller (via another shop who it turns out just pass on the order) and they maintain I'll get it in the 2nd week of May. They're also £75 cheaper than Apple themselves on the mid-range model - £1225 vs £1299!

Currently I've still got both orders open - I'll cancel the Apple one if I receive the reseller's before it's dispatched, or otherwise I guess I'll have to return it unopened.

I got a dispatch confirmation from Apple a couple of days ago but unfortunately it was just for the USB adapter :(

My card is showing its first activity (pending charge) and I've preparing for dispatch.

UK base model in silver. Ordered as soon as website came up (edu discount so couldn't use the app)

As of this morning, I'm the same. Card charged today, preparing for dispatch.

I'm assuming delivery towards end of next week?

Ordered the base model.

UK, base model space grey, ordered 10th April, order confirmation received 08:06.

This morning it has changed to Preparing for Shipment \o/

Hallelujah! :D Preparing for Dispatch even though my credit card has not been charged and the "Pending Transaction" disappeared last night after being there for a week. Perhaps I'll get it free (joke).

It'll be interesting to see where these are coming from. It seemed like the status changed really early this mornings, which makes me think it's not happening locally and we may watch our MacBooks ship from China.

At Apple in The Netherlands I ordered the MacBook for €1362 with student discount, at the Apple reseller iCentre I orderd it for €1450. It's not a big difference but it's still €90 where I can buy an adaptor or sleeve for. About the money it doesn't matter, I just want as soon as possible receive my MacBook.

That's exactly what I going to do too. If the reseller is saying that I can come get it next week or the following week when Apple's order still is processing I'll cancel that order. We will wisely see what happen in the next week

Preparing for dispatch! Grey 1.1 256! I ordered at 8.15am, UK.

----------

On Monday the 3rd of May we have a public holiday in the UK.

Could it come sooner? Maybe as soon as the 4th? This is when the trouble begins, we are all now going to get so excited!

The 8th is the latest it will come! Don't some people have delivery dates before the 8th? Mine is 8-14 May.

Yeah but that's cause you're in the second wave like myself so I doubt our status will change until the latter part of next week.

Yeah its true.

Still a twang of disappointment to see it still processing when everyone else is preparing for shipment - even though they are in the first wave! :(

But good news anyway! ;)

I too ordered with the Dutch Reseller iCentre yesterday. Shipment should be received on the 4th of May in their warehouse, looks to be on track but it wouldn't be the first time it get's changed at the last moment. They expect to start to be able shipping/selling the things at the 6th (5th is a national holiday here).

If they can sell me one I'll just cancel my Apple order. We'll see.

Mine is preparing for shipment now.

1.3/512/SG UK ordered roughly a few mins after release. Delivery still says by May 8-14
