Really looking forward to the new Clipse album. Their "Road to..." mixtape was great.

With the new Mos Def album out (The Ecstatic) NahRight.com has put together a best-of compilation called 'The Underground Album' available for download on the site. Its very, very good, well worth tracking down on their site.

Speaking of The Ecstatic, how
do you guys like it?

I think it's a breath of fresh air, especially the Auditorium and No Hay Nada Mas tracks.

It's DIFFERENT... but in a good way. I like it. Anybody listen to Wu Tang's "Chamber Music" yet??

I guess I should branch out of the 80s with my taste in hip hop. I got into the old school with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Kurtis Blow, and Whodini through my university's music collection. I also like Run DMC and the Beastie Boys. All the gangsta rap and the culture associated with it turned me off from newer hip hop. The only newer rap I've been able to listen to is Jurassic 5's What's Golden and Bone Thug's Tha Crossroads.

Fan here, too many to list.

As long as it's not that new I'm a rapper but dress like a rock n roll musician and act/rap like an r&b singer it's cool.
