My wife uses a 6s for personal use, and an SE as her work phone. She has both with her at all times. The SE has fantastic battery life. In terms of standby time it's not even a comparison. It puts her 6s and my 6s Plus to shame.
I'm always impressed at how well my battery run times last for such a small capacity. even with a slightly larger capacity than my 5s, it never got anywhere near this...

it usually does even better than my Note5 especially for SOT.

Went from 6s --> 6 plus --> SE. No regrets at all. Battery life is amazing, and I like that the phone isn't as slippery as the 6 & 6 plus naked.

I have a question. I'm still within the Apple return/ exchange 14 day period. Will I be charged with restocking fee or any type of penalty fee if I exchange my SE 16gb for SE 64gb? Or if I simply exchange it for a different color as I think the rose gold looks kind of delicate and I'd much prefer it in some kind of silver? Please advise.

Delicate? There shouldn't be a problem if you exchange it in the proper time period.

Also, still no remorse.

On a day like today running around it's nice to use the 5w small cube charger and not need more if I brought my plus out and about needing iPad charger for fast speeds

Tiny battery has its benefits with power efficiencies of a9

Traded for a 64 also. Well worth it

Couldn't agree more. I had the 16GB SE and only installed the essential apps I needed. I finally decided enough was enough and sold the 16GB to upgrade to the 64GB. It's great to have all of the apps, photos and video on both my 6s and SE.

I could do with 16GB phones for the longest time, but not anymore. Even though I still have roughly 35GB left of free space on both devices, I don't have to constantly check how much storage like I had with the 16GB SE.

I simply cannot do 16 GB anymore either. My apps alone take up more than 16 GB.

Um no. This is one of the strangest "issues" I see people post with a smaller phone. The text is the same size as a bigger phone - there's just less of it on the screen at one time.
Yeah. And people didn't have a problem with it before larger phones started coming out.

The only time I have a little trouble reading things on the screen is when I'm viewing a desktop site that isn't optimized at all for mobile. Then I have to pinch to zoom a lot, but it's worth it for all the other times I'm not viewing desktop sites and can easily use the phone with one hand without feeling like a slight bump will knock it out of my hand.

First few days with my SE and I'm very satisfied.
The size is a delight. For the first time in years, it feels like I really use a phone instead of a phablet before - I've been using a 6 plus and 6s the last few months.
Typing on a smaller screen takes some time to get used to, but being able to use this device with one hand is such a relief.
The battery seems to be much better than the one of the 6S.
I've been able to use the SE for more than a day - Bluetooth always on to connect with my Apple Watch.
The next few days, I'll test without Bluetooth connected all the time.

It's as fast as the 6s, so you don't need to worry about that.
The biggest disadvantage is of course the smaller screen, but who wants to read a book on a phone?
If you just want to check social media, write a (shorter) mail, etc. this is just the phone you want.
And the people who actually notice a yellow screen: buy glasses.

I had an iPhone 4 since it came out until the home button became more unresponsive and regretfully replaced it with an iPhone 6S earlier this year. The 4 had survived a few tumbles and was a great phone and I wouldn't have replaced it with a bigger one if I hadn't had to as the smaller size is more comfortable for me. Imagine my annoyance when, only a few weeks after I changed it, the SE was introduced.

Just to add insult to injury, I dropped the 6S, not very far, and cracked the screen.:mad: The 4 would have just shrugged that off. It's awkward to hold with small hands and doesn't fit in my pocket. I looked rather longingly at the SE in the Apple Store yesterday and couldn't resist picking it up. It fit's perfectly in the hand, as though it was made for me. Sigh. I asked how much my (damaged) 6S was worth in part exchange but it's not on their system for p/e.

how about getting the screen replaced and then trading it in for the SE?

I've just been investigating this today. Last I checked, Apple couldn't accept the 6S in part exchange, it wasn't on their list, but I'm investigating how much I might get for it online if repaired. It's £106 to get the screen repaired and if selling, it looks as though it's worth doing. I really don't want to keep it long term, I'd like to get the SE and keep that for as long as it lasts. Wish me luck!

I'm so bloody torn about this phone.

I currently have the 6s. I had the 5 and held out after the 6 then 6s waiting for a refresh of the 4" iPhone. I bit the bullet on a 6s and low and behold 6 months later the SE is released. I would never have got the 6s if I'd have know 100% that the SE would be released.

Now I always buy my phones outright. So right now the 'phone' pot is pretty low. If I want to get the SE I'm going to have to take it out on contract.

I just don't know if I'm now so used to the 6s screen size that I'd go to all the hassle of finding a decent SE contract, cancelling my current sim only and paying that off, getting the SE only to go 'oh....should have stuck with the 6s'.

I love everything about the 6s besides its size. I still find one handed use awkward. If I'm out and I get a text I won't check it whilst walking about because I can't do so with one hand, and I'm forever terrified of dropping it. I know I have no such issues with the SE because it's perfect for one handed use.

Don't care about 3D Touch. Have that switched off anyway.

I just can't decided if I'm now so used to the bigger screen that getting the SE will disappoint me. Or if the pro of the smaller over all size will win out.

I went from a 6S to a 5.7" Nexus 6 and from there to an SE. The adjustment to the smaller size doesn't take much getting used to. There are some things I miss about a larger screen, but most of what I do is a lot easier on a smaller screen.

Perhaps, though I'm still undecided. Side by side with my iPhone 5, the signal seems to have dropped from 4 blobs to 2 blobs strength and it can only find our 2.4Ghz wifi network whereas the 5 could easily lock on to our 5Ghz
The cell signal differences could very well be the different LTE band support. For example, let's say you're on Verizon. Verizon uses LTE bands 2, 4, and 13. 13 Is the most heavily deployed LTE band, it reaches the furthest and goes through walls the best. LTE band 4 is the next most common, particularly in cities. Band 4 has much higher capacity than band 13 but it doesn't reach as far and doesn't go through walls as well.

The iPhone SE supports all of Verizon's LTE bands, while the iPhone 5 I believe only has support for band 13. Since the iPhone 5 will ALWAYS be on band 13 if you're on LTE, you're likely to have a higher signal due to the characteristics of the band 13 signal it is always listening to. Your iPhone SE could be on band 4, which will usually be much faster but have a weaker signal due to its poor propagation characteristics.

The Wi-Fi thing, I can't explain that. I would honestly get a replacement SE as that is not normal. Something could actually be wrong with your entire antenna system to be completely honest. I might have done all that explaining for nothing.

No remorse. Size wasn't a factor for me, more so the design fail of the 6 series phones. The 5/5s/SE design is simply better. To me the 6 series reflect the sloppy approach Apple has to everything now. iOS is lazy is so many ways, camera bumps and antenna lines that only Jonny could love, it's awkward to hold and hard to love...

It's just a shame the SE is considered a budget phone and choices for accessories etc are therefore somewhat limited unless you kept a stock from the 5/5s days.

You seem to be building a case to get the SE. I have both, and just from using my SE over the weekend, going back to the 6s feels like it's this huge phone. I quickly adapt to the size of the screen, but honestly the SE fits perfectly in my hand and I can easily type one handed as well. My 6s I can type one handed, but after a little bit it can become a bit uncomfortable and that's when I usually give up and just type with both hands.
