4am update...
Well, 4am here... still the same 8 of us in line, most of us have left out chairs in front of the store to go nap in our cars. I just slept for bout an hour and got the laptop charge up some.
What I wouldn't do for some air conditioning. It's INSANELY humid here in Atlanta today. Plus, my god, garbage dumpster pickup trucks are LOUD!!!!
Back to "bed" for another hour....

I'm here was here at 2am and left because no line.now its 4:30 still nobody here and mall security just told me there was alot left over last year so I'm probably way to early but I aint going back home.security said he will wake me up if people start showing up.good luck
our security guy would stab us and drag us into The back room if we fell asleep.
I don't know how mines is going to wake me up.he's sleep in his security truck in the next parking spot beside me so I will probably just stay awake to be safe.

Anyone in line at Stanford Mall or Palo Alto stores? We can't decide where to head at 4am- and we will bring donute to the line- check in folks!
A fun night- my 16 year old son, husband, and I staying up all night and will bring our pup too...
My son and I have waited a long time having waited to gen 2- meanwhile always stealing my husbands iPhone...

Got a 16gb! From the Ashton-u-Lyne store, 6 miles from Manchester,UK. Got there 0630, front of the queue. Couple of fellas appeared shortly after me, by 8 there was about 15.
One of my mates came good so that I get 30% discount on my monthly contract, w00t, so that's less than 25 nicker for the £35 package! Only downer is that mine won't be activated till tomorrow morning*. Still I can fiddle with it!
*Not necessarily the case for everyone, something to do with my particular activation. The fellas behind me, current 02 account holders, will be activated later today.
