Any Modern Buckle Progress? Charges,preparing for shipment?

Finally had a 'Preparing for Dispatch' notice on my 38mm Medium, Soft Pink Modern Buckle!! :)

Thought I would be stuck in 'Processing' forever!!

Ordered as soon as the pre orders went live on 10th April (from Nottingham, UK) and received the order confirmation at XX:03!!

It's been a tough few weeks waiting!!

they want me to return it for an exchange. so basically be without a watch. they said they would send me a label then it takes 2 days to process my "return" then they would send me out a replacement watch (NOT band only THE WHOLE WATCH) and I would be pushed before the July ship date but I still would get the July ship date expectation. so screw that. Our modern buckle watches do not qualify for that 14 day swap. Our watches are not an option.

I waited too long for this watch. Im just going to have to lose some wrist fat :mad: motivation to work out? possibly idk

Worth the wait? Yes, definitely (as opposed to ordering another band that I didn't want and getting it sooner, but I didn't know how long the wait would be when I ordered). I love the band.

First impression -- Beautiful. Very, very happy with it so far. (Although I'll admit I'm glad I saw some of the other MB pictures that were posted when they first started arriving late last week -- The buckle is larger than I originally pictured, so this set my expectations better.)

Very happy for you and everyone. Yes,the buckle is bigger in person. I'll be honest,I like it though. Seems more fashionable

I've read in another MacRumors forum that if you are more insistent with Customer Service, and are willing to pay for the second band up front, you can usually get them to agree to expedite the new band and send a label to return the first band after you receive the second, and then they'll refund you in full for the first band when it's returned. I think I'd rather do that than go without for awhile. I don't remember which forum, but it had to do with bands. I found that one before I found this one.

was just charged for my wife's 38mm SS pink modern buckle, in size medium

ordered on april 10th @ 8 minutes after midnight PST

and switched to preparing for shipment about the same time. I checked about 15 minutes ago just for the heck of it and it was still processing. so the charges hit my credit card and updated the apple store page at what seemed like the same time.

woohoo, she is going to be stoked to find this out.

38mm SS w/ Pink Modern Buckle (Medium) just changed to Preparing for Shipment. Order Confirmation Email received on 10-Apr 3:11 am ET. I'm in the US.
 
11:30pm CC and PFS for small soft pink MB. I initially ordered it on 4/10 at xx:22:51. Good luck ladies
 
It's great to see all these lt pink orders starting to move. I think the floodgates have finally opened!

I'm also encouraged to see that it look like they're being shipped in the same order they were ordered. It's always nice to know things are being done fair and square.

I've had mine for about 8 1/2 hours now, and so far, so wonderful! :eek: Just installed the latest software update, which seamlessly synced from the phone, and am now charging for the first time, using the Apple 12W Power Adapter that came with my iPad. Curious to try this versus the 5W and see what the time difference is.

Ah, so much experimenting to do the next few days! Can't wait!

Wife got her 38mm Small Black Modern Buckle yesterday. It's glorious.

My large brown modern buckle is currently shipping and arrives in less than 24 hours which means it's arriving with only 3 shipping days left in my shipping period. There must a large number of brown modern buckle orders updating to PFS very soon!
 
Eeeeeeek!!!! Finally!!!!! woke up to my pink modern medium buckle shipping!!!!! Ordered at :10 on April 10 soo excited!!!!!!

I'm really surprised I'm getting mine so late in the delivery window too. I'm at :06. Don't worry, you're not alone.

What was your order time? I'd love to get my wife's here before this weekend, but not looking like it now.

I ordered at XX:12...not sure why mine appears to have shipped before some people who have an earlier confirmed order time...my guess might be location as I'm currently based in Australia :confused:

You need to call and get someone else. Others have done just the band exchange. They add the band online to your original order, and email you a return label for the band only. You can keep your old band until the new one comes and then mail the old one back.

I personally spoke to a rep yesterday b.c I was contemplating doing this and wanted details. The above is how they described the process. Also, I am outside my 14 days and they were willing to still exchange the band only. I do not know if that is only b.c I was "upgrading" to a more expensive band.
