Just wanted to give an update about my band swap I tried to initiate. When I called yesterday the representative set up a return for an exchange for the whole watch. She did upgrade it to the advanced return where they are sending the whole watch first and having me send mine back. BUT, after 30 minutes of telling her I needed it to be exchanged to a large. She is sending me a medium watch...again. I called to verify and all her notes state it is to swapped for a large, but that is not available to do and that I was misinformed and that they "apologize' but there is nothing that can be done. I have to just return the watch and go back in que for a large.
I couldn't accept that answer so I escalated to a supervisor which told me the same thing. He tried to make it sound like he was doing me a favor by swapping it out with a sport band (and refund me 200 difference) and to just repurchase the pink modern buckle when it becomes available. I have NEVER experienced such horrible customer service in my life. I am seriously at a loss of words to be told to get an exchange on the watch I have to go back into que after staying up all night on launch night and ordering and waiting since may 19 for this watch to be told I have to wait another month and a half. I'm thinking about returning the watch and calling it quits.
It's pretty clear that they have no extra Modern Buckle bands. If they did, they could be ordered separately. What sucks is that they won't offer you the ability to swap for a large even if it means you have to wait awhile to get it.
You could always buy a sport band to wear in the interim or something. How weird.
