C'mon, this is supposed to be a democratic society...Our watches are more money so why are people with all the cheapy ones getting them first! Apple have their priorities all wrong!

Any Modern Buckle Progress? Charges,preparing for shipment?

Double OUCH!!!! See that is not cool. I'd write Tim Cook. Here you are trying to buy two "upper tier" watches and your reward.... An unadvertised unexpected wait that's souring your view of Apple and the watch and they could have avoided that with some transparency prior to the order date.
No one expected to select a watch model at a few minutes past "go time" and see anything like "June" as a delivery date.
Completely agree!!! I was on the fence about ordering an Apple Watch at launch, but when my wife mentioned she would like one, I ordered her a 38 SS Pink Modern Buckle and a 42 Space Grey for myself (xx:04 and xx:05). we are both stuck in processing hell. I feel a little misled that ordering right at launch would mean delivery on April 24th.
The only reason my XX:04 Modern Buckle was ordered at XX:04 and not XX:01 was because I was flabbergasted to see 4-6 weeks as soon as the store opened. I woke my wife up quickly but she didn't care, and so I proceeded to order.
Then I ordered a 38mm Milanese w/out applecare and froze and ordered a 38mm Milanese w/ applecare. Then I decided I need a 42mm Milanese just in case. That was XX:30
I went to try-on's and decided 42mm was for me.
The 38mm Milanese were 4/24-5/8 but I cancelled those, after I asked my wife if she wanted that one instead. She said she wanted Modern Buckle.
So two orders:
XX:04 - Modern Buckle
XX:30 - 42mm Milanese
No movement on either.
Also no movement on my green 38mm sports band or 42mm blue sports band.
All in "processing" hell.

I'm sure I would have froze as well if the ones I wanted had a later than expected delivery date. Heck I was shocked to see 4/24-5/8 at 3 minutes past.

I have three sport bands for both the wife and I in three different colors ordered just hoping something ships so we can use them at the gym. And of course all hope of the Modern Buckle as a Mothers Day gift is shot. How bad is production that they are not even taking orders???? We'll see if my leather loop can be had for Fathers Day.

I know. I'm still waiting on a watch I ordered for a birthday gift. I do have mine and my husband has his. I just hope the gift comes in time.
The band by itself is unavailable, I think that says a lot about their existence. At best, it's probably being manufactured as I'm typing this. There are none sitting in any warehouse.
I want one too, but good thing I ordered SS with sports band. I got it launch day. Whenever the modern buckle is available, I'll put an order in. A month from now? Who knows, but until then, I'm enjoying the Apple Watch.

You busted me! Lol. I'm totally freaking out. I needed it for a wedding gift in May. Lol. I'm totally impatiently waiting.
I have a May 20-28 shipping window for the gift I bought. I'm good with that window, as long as it ships.
