Any Modern Buckle Progress? Charges,preparing for shipment?

I canceled my modern buckle order in lieu of a white sport band. Hopefully it will ship sooner, and after my try on appointment, I realize I don't really like the MB all that much.

I'll spend some time shopping for a band I really do like once I have the watch.

only six people have listed modern buckles out of over 300 on ordertracker.me so I guess it really is one of the least popular. I am betting I won't see mine until at least May 13.

I ordered a 38mm SS Apple watch with black modern buckle as a gift. Bought on 4/10 at 12:02am PST. Email confirmation at 12:02am PST. My date is 5/13-5/27. No movement to my status at all. Just says "processing". I did get my 42mm SS with classic leather band on Friday though

I ordered my wife the SS with pink modern buckle at 2:04 Central. Received the order confirmation in seconds for the May 13th delivery window. Since then crickets... Based on other threads, it does sound as though Apple didn't REALLY have any for delivery on the 24th - not by a long shot. Or, maybe they reserved their SS/Pink inventory for their new non-Apple retail partners.

Apple's lack of communication with it's loyal customer base is taking the shine off the apple, so to speak.

I ordered the SS with size small, soft pink modern buckle late morning on the 10th. I have June shipping which went to July on the website shortly after I ordered. I tried the band on in the store and the small fit perfectly and I love it. I thought about ordering the SS with white sport band to get the watch sooner and get the modern buckle later, but am concerned that this band isn't even available on the website. I've decided to wait and be certain of getting the band I want. I'll order the white sport band later so I can use that for activities where the modern buckle band might get messed up.

I keep thinking about switching to the SS with WSB, but I really want the modern buckle and I'm afraid that the band alone may not be available for a long time so am sticking with my orig order at least today.

I'm torn!!! I want that modern buckle so bad. But when it comes, I've learned from my try on that its too big. I ordered the large and I need the medium. I'm scared they won't be able to exchange it. I did also order a separate white sport band and I also ordered a purple band from Monowear. So maybe.... UGH!!!!! I also ordered a 38mm SS WSB Saturday afternoon. The shipping dates are neck and neck right now. Which will win?!?! If I get within a few days of the modern buckle window and still don't have the sport band I'm for sure gonna wait.

Stick with the modern... Try it on in the comfort of your own home. Apple will exchange the band for you (that is what I read) if it's too big.

I know for certain it's not the London boutique that is getting them. I called them up today, and they had everything except for Modern Buckle and Leather Loop.

They were. At midnight on 4/10. Ship time was really long and I figured it would be... it was the same time as the watches.

I went back later, and they'd slipped out farther, and then you couldn't even buy one. I should've bought one that night. Argh.

Wow, I clicked on this thread by accident and started reading. It seems pink is cursed for Apple or by Apple. Those of us who ordered the pink Sport within the first five minutes have not seen any sign of movement on our models, either. Nor did I see any pink sport bands available for try on appointments when I went. There has been a slow trickles of people starting to get their pink sport watches. Mostly those in the first 3 minutes of ordering. A lot of us think that they also did not have any pink sport stock ready to ship for launch, either.

I can't imagine what's happened to the modern pink buckle.

I love the email to Tim that references the unicorns. I think the tone of that email was positive and funny and in a nice way got the message across for all of us who preordered in the wee hours of the morning and got zip for our efforts. In my case the pink sport was a gift that will likely now not make it in time for the recipient's birthday. My husband's classic buckle is also stuck in processing limbo. I know that's not the same limbo you modern buckle fans are facing. I do feel bad for the vast uncertainty over your orders.

I'm with you there. I work with pens and paper all day and I would hate it if I get a mark on that band. I think I might pull the trigger and switch to the black band. As much as I like the light pink, it is a concern that it will get dirty and show it

If you're waffling, you should order a 38mm SS WSB model, then buy a modern buckle band later, once they have the supply established.

Yeah. I just don't think they made very many of that band.

on April 11th I ordered a pink MB, July ship date. A few days later I changed to SS WSB to get the watch sooner... I'll buy a pink MB as SOON as they become available for purchase. So far- not available for purchase! (boo)

I ordered the SS with black modern buckle today. Says available to ship 4-6 weeks and delivers June 1 - June 12 which is more specific than my soft pink modern buckle watch that has always just said available June. I'm concerned about my ability to keep ink marks and spaghetti sauce off the pink band. At this point I'll probably take whichever one ships first and cancel the other.
