I was really on the fence about upgrading to the Pro but I haven't regretted doing it.
You'll get there, haha then the castle will feel EASY to you lol, its a wild ride.Nah, the game is just so hard!
I couldn’t wait to get into the castle, but now I’m in there, I’m getting battered!
I love it when some games become like homework, where you Google & search on YouTube, researching things. You'll get there, haha then the castle will feel EASY to you lol, it’s a wild ride.
I really wanna love this game, but it’s punishing me to the extent of being unenjoyable. You'll get there, haha then the castle will feel EASY to you lol, its a wild ride.
Depends on region, the box should tell you. But it’s only extra 90 days so you’ve got a better deal from John Lewis.Cheers bud.
I bought mine from John Lewis, so get two years guarantee from them.
Where do I register my console with Sony?
Thanks again.
Hey OP! I think my -gaming- story is similar to yours. After PS3, where I played most of the awesome games that were released during its last years, I went through a period of not gaming too much. Then I waited for the PS4 Pro with high hopes of getting hooked again, and I was, but by a F2P game that took over everything: Fortnite. I managed to play a few titles but Fortnite was too addictive… However after a couple of years I had to sell my PS4 Pro due to the obnoxious noise it made. It ended up disturbing other people at home, especially at night, so I had to sell it. I never managed to play many of the great PS4 titles that appeared during the last years, such as the remakes of Resident Evil, the FFVII remake, Resident Evil VII, Devil May Cry V (yes, I love Capcom)… and the list goes on and on. Fortunately I was able to play MGSV The Phantom Pain, and a few more, but a lot was left in the pending list when I decided to sell my PS4 Pro, at a moment when, due to the PS5 scarcity, I sold it for a good price.A lifelong gamer here, who "went off of gaming" a few years ago.
I have an Xbox One X, and a PS4 Pro, but haven't been gaming.
Saw some Battlefield 6 gameplay on PS5 Pro today, and it looked great. I'm a huge battlefield enthusiast. I'd actually buy the PS5 Pro for that game alone. Having said that, the new James Bond & GTA6 games are coming in the new year, and they also look good.
Question for PS5 Pro owners: How good are they?
Thanks in advance, and wishing you well.
One thing is for sure, the PS5 Pro is silent 😊.Hey OP! I think my -gaming- story is similar to yours. Then, with the pandemic and the scarcity and other affairs in my life, I decided to wait until the PS5 Pro was announced to buy it, and play all the backlog I had from PS4 and PS5 games at a cheaper price. But then PS5 Pro was announced, and with it, a price tag we didn’t expect: 800€ here in Europe, without a disk drive! It was insulting, so I didn’t buy it then, and kept waiting with an eye on the second hand market.
Back in July, I saw a really really sweet deal: a PS5 Pro + original Dual Sense + Disk Drive + Assassins Creed Shadows (a game I enjoy a lot), all for less than 600€. Amazing deal!! The only problem was that the owner smokes cigarettes and it smelled like nicotine so I had to remove the white panels, clean it thoroughly, leave it on the balcony for a few days… and problem solved.
Now, I’m playing all the backlog I have, starting with the Resident Evil remakes. I managed to grab a digital pack with the deluxe editions of the 3 remakes for just 39€, and I’m really enjoying it. My plan is to play most of what I’ve missed during the past decade with the PS5 Pro, and especially games that run better on the Pro such as FFVII Remake & Rebirth, or the upcoming GTA VI, then sell it in time for the PS6 launch, and then finally settle with the PS6 for the future.
As for the machine, it’s a great console that’s allowing me to play games with Ray Tracing enabled at good frame rates, but I don’t think I’ll wait for a Pro console again. First, I’m not sure the price justifies the improvements, although for me having 2TB was one more reason to get the Pro… just not at 800€, that’s excessive. But the most important thing to consider, is the size and weight of this monster, especially with the disk drive attached. I really hope that with PS6 being lower power, they will go back to a more reasonable console size and weight. And because PS6 is expected to come with a 2TB SSD as well, and even better Ray Tracing and Machine Learning upscaling technologies, hopefully the base console will be more than enough for my gaming needs for at least a decade.
But yeah, so far, I’m loving the PS5 Pro and the outstanding graphics.
Yes! At least it’s not like a jet engine about to take off like the PS4 Pro! If that big size is necessary for it to be silent, then I can’t complain. One thing is for sure, the PS5 Pro is silent 😊.
Look at some guides on how to cheese things, especially with magic. I did without shame.I really wanna love this game, but it’s punishing me to the extent of being unenjoyable.
HaHa, it's nice to know I'm not alone!!Look at some guides on how to cheese things, especially with magic. I did without shame.

Devilishly hard: As I describe Souls games ... controller breakers!!
😀
Bud, I am unable to view this post.
Isn’t Elden Ring such an epic game???Bud, I am unable to view this post.
It's stuck behind a request for me to enter a code, which I have done numerous times, but it will not accept my input.
Can you describe what it is?
Cheers 👍🏼.
Dare I say, it's amazing.Isn’t Elden Ring such an epic game???
Oh, interesting, I thought Elden Ring was the most accessible souls game. Many people say it’s the best way to get oneself into the souls genre.Just tucking into it.
You know what? The bosses drive me mad! I always summon help. I absolutely love the environments, and discovering new areas, but I'm not one for fighting bosses 20 times over, until I beat them. For me, that would ruin the game.
I've just reached the first boss (the one where you can summon the game's own help) and it's smashing me to pieces. I had to shut down the game yesterday, as I would have smashed up my controller!
And yes, I too love the Souls games. The level design is second to none.
That was the first Souls game I played.Oh, interesting, I thought Elden Ring was the most accessible souls game. Many people say it’s the best way to get oneself into the souls genre.
I wanted to get the Demons Souls Remake, because it is really gorgeous… but I know I’d get very frustrated.
MAG? What does that acronym stand for? That was the first Souls game I played.
Back on the PS3.
Considering the generation, it was unbelievable. By the way, did you play MAG on the PS3? That game really showed what the console was capable of.
MAG: Massive Action Game.MAG? What does that acronym stand for?
I bought my PS3 with KillZone 2 and that was a really spectacle worth of the “next generation” title. I still think PS4 and PS5 games don’t look significantly better than KZ2.
