i'm off to switzerland for some science and then some skiing in the alps.

anyone else traveling this weekend?

I'll pop out to the shops at some point tomorrow. We'll certainly need some milk, and a few other bits and pieces as well.

are you open on Sunday there?

I really miss that about Stockholm, being closed on Sunday in Germany is quite crappy as it forces you to plan ahead for cooking/shopping/general business.

Well, you see, I live in the U.S. Probably will grab a case of Bud, takeout from Chez McDonalds, and watch football. Thankfully, I also get to travel to foreign counties all the time. Living in Orlando, I can go to EPCOT all the time.

I was planning on going to the International House of Pancakes and getting the crepe and Belgian waffle combo - since as an American, that's what we consider good cuisine and diverse culture.

Don't forget Slim Jims. You could hollow it out and use it as a straw.

Oh yes, I forgot. I can use it to sip my delicious American beer. Nothing says "yum" like Slim Jim flavored Natural Light.

oh god I'm getting sick just thinking about that

Since it's so nice out for winter in NY, I may take a drive to the big salt water pond.

I'll be making the long trip from my bed to my desk to do more revision. I may take an excursion to the bathroom and kitchen at some point. Awesome. :(

Yeah, well I hope you don't go to the big national one. It is all propaganda. Local artisanal salt museums in the Baltic tell it how it really is.

Baltic? Everybody goes there. I like the stuff from this little place called the Black Sea. It's much more mellow and not as salty. I'm sure you've never heard of it.

Natural Light? That is nasty. I prefer this award-winning beer called PBR. It won a blue ribbon, you know.
