Gotta stick with the 6S Plus.
I watch a lot of video on my phone and the larger screen is great for that. The battery life is outstanding and then there's the Optical Image Stabilization that you can't get on the 6s.
Love my Plus!

I did consider dropping down to the 6s. However, a day or two before pre-order day, I went to an Apple store and compared the 6 to the 6+. I must be so used to the size of the 6+ that the 6 seemed so small in comparison. I decided then and there to get the 6s+. It fits in my pockets fine, I don't worry about using a phone with one hand because I mostly have always used two hands, even with the 4. The only time I have had problems fitting it into what I was wearing was when I was wearing shorts and going biking. I just want the next four days to pass VERY quickly!

Have a 6 plus now, and ordered a 6S for better fitting in my pocket. My only concern is the battery life. If the 6S battery turns out to be too small to last my day, I would just return the 6S and go back to 6 plus. To me, 6 plus to 6S plus is too small of a difference to "upgrade".

Yes I'm downsizing from the 6+ to the 6s. It's a little bit easier for me using the smaller device. The plus can be a doozy at times for me. I will say I'm going to miss that big screen but I have my mini for that.

Replacing my 6plus with the 6s and iPad mini 4, a great combination. Always thought the 6plus would replace the mini, but did not really fit the bill.

This is me exactly. I thought for sure the plus would replace my "need" for an iPad but it never quite worked for me. I also have the mini 4 and I think the 6s will be the perfect fit to go with it.

This probably doesn't belong here. But I have a 6 and I'm going to a 6s+ because of the larger battery, OIS and also I notice my wife has better LTE reception on her 6+ than I do on my 6.

LOVE my 6 plus. Ordered the Rose Gold 6s plus and can't wait to get it on Friday! I love the big screen

I have the 6+ and love it! However it is big....hard to use one handed, big in pocket etc....

I have thought about downsizing to the 6s but just not sure I'm ready to go small again :(

I soooo wish Apple would make a 5.1 size like the Galaxy S6, it's a great size!

Im downsizing as well. Im sure i'll miss the battery and screen size though. Im a yearly upgrader so if i don't like the size i'll just buy the iPhone 7 next year and go back :)

I'm also downsizing as well. I bought the 6+ due to its huge battery life but missing the one hard use features, according to me 6s got the perfect size. I hope the battery is that enough for use a single day.

I did with 6 Plus -> 6. Definitely.

While 6 Plus (and hence 6S Plus) does have bigger screen, it was never comfortable for me to use it as a normal phone.
Regular 6 just feels right in my hand. 6 Plus was kind of more than a phone, but still no match for an tablet: every single time on a couch I preferred the iPad to it. Every single time, when I was on a go, I wished it was smaller and handier...

I really could evaluate both for a longer period of time, because I ordered my wife a regular 6. At the end I was alway jealous of hers.

So 6 and now 6S are the perfect matches for me. The only missing thing from 6S Plus is not even its resolution, but the Camera OIS.

I thought long and hard about downsizing to the 6s from the Plus this time around, for several reasons:
- The Plus definitely can feel large in my pants pocket (I've been carrying a beater Android 5" around for a couple of weeks since I sold my Plus to fund my upgrade and I have really noticed the difference in my pocket)
- I wanted to upgrade from 16gb to 64gb and there's obviously a cost factor.. downsizing to the 6s would have offset this cost
- Off the shelf accessories and cases seem much more readily available for the 6 than the 6 Plus.

When preorder time arrived though, I just couldn't let the larger screen real estate go... Having the 6(s) Plus is so great for consuming media, I hardly ever touch my iPad Air 2 any more, its *that* good.

My wife uses an iphone 6 and will get the 6S. When I had the Plus, it meant we couldn't really share the same car mount or accessories. Plus was pretty uncomfortable to use after a few minutes. Fits in pocket ok and can carry around. But just not getting any benefits from the larger screen to compensate for the bad ergonomics of the device.

Things look better but it's just not comfortable to use. It lagged, stuttered, and the lack of RAM constantly shows itself in shutting down apps and reloading safari tabs.

OIS doesnt really mean much. I haven't noticed much of a difference with it. Of course the battery life is noticeable but you can get around that. Perhaps if the Plus had something else going for it. A built in stylus or more exclusive iOS features. If the iphone 7 Plus can get a native resolution screen, smaller size, and better features for its size, then I may give it another try.

In the end, it's just a phone. The smaller the better IMO. I only used the Plus for a month before selling it and going back to better performing and MUCH more comfortable to use 5S. But I look forward to the 6S.

I am so seriously thinking about downsizing:/

I just am so afraid I'll be very jealous of my husbands 6s+ and regret my decision, lol!

I have two 6s+ on order for mid October delivery. If in the meantime I purchase a 6s and use it, don't like it. Can I still return it within the 14 days and get a refund? And then wait for my plus to arrive?

I was thinking about going back to the smaller 6s because of 3DTouch and one-handed use, so I used a 6 this weekend for a couple of days and there's just no going back for me. I've been spoiled by that screen and the smaller phone just doesn't work for me anymore.

Exactly my story. The most uncomfortable was even not the one-handed usage, but it felt like I am holding a spade while talking to it.
So, I sold 6 Plus after one month as well and went back to regular 5. 6S is preordered and should be here on Friday ;).

About OIS: it does make a difference, but only in low light conditions. I tested our 6 Plus vs 6 in darker environments and 6 Plus was constantly using lower ISO's on the same shot, resulting a bit better sharpness and less noise.

I'm going the other way this time around. I've has the 6 since launch last year and I pre-ordered the 6s Plus this time. Figure I'll have 14 days to exchange it if I can't get used to it, but thought I wanted to give the bigger one a go and see what it's like. We will see...
That's exactly what I'm doing too. I really like my 6 that I've had for a year. I want to try the 6S plus to see if I like it better. I will return it for a 6S if I don't like the portability. I wish Apple made a 5" 1080 screen.

I'm downsizing. Mostly because I'm becoming more and more frustrated every day with using the plus due to its size. I don't exactly have a purse or a bag to carry my phone regularly and the battery hit isn't that much considering that even with a battery case its still smaller then the plus. Plus the OIS... my photos haven't been any much better then my friend who has a regular 6. Maybe I just suck at taking pictures but I don't think I'll have any disappointments currently downsizing to a 6s.

6+ to 6S for me.

Haven't enjoyed the size at all. Too big for my hands / pockets.
Won't miss OIS either.

Will definitely miss the Battery.

Can't wait for Friday :)

All the concerns with the battery. I don't think it an issue if you just get a battery pack and keep it charged. The Anker I have is the size of a lipstick tube and is light as can be and did not cost a lot.

The problem with 14 day trial the first weeks of release of iPhones is the limited availability of the color, carrier, and storage size afterwards. So do not be surprised that what you may want may not be available when you return your original purchase.
