Actually ram does matter, it’s more fluid with multi tasking, and it really comes to play down the road. In 2 years 3 just won’t be enough since all software gets bigger. For now it’s good.

3D Touch man, peek and pop in Instagram is MUCH needed! Lol do you know how many bootys i peek and pop.. lol

But it’s hard to compare bezels from those models since it’s a completely different form factor. I am coming from X so they do look big to me.

Yes but if you’re Going to spend $1000 on a XR(including tax) why not just spend $250 more. Seems like $1249 is not far off from $1000. Now if we were talking about $500 compared to $250, ok I get it. And monthly costs helps out..
If you add AppleCare it’s $300 more plus higher taxes. Simply put, the XR meets all my wants and desires so, why spend more? Love my XR.

I love it so far. I'm coming from a three year old Google Nexus 5X so the performance difference is huge. I just got tired of all the AB testing, inconsistencies and bugs introduced with updates. Love Android too, but I wanted a more solid experience this time. Plus there are some great iOS apps out there. There are a few things I miss from Android, but I'll be fine. The keyboard has been a frustrating experience, but I'm doing pretty well with Gboard right now.

It didn't take me long to not miss Android. I switched to iOS three years ago and went back to Android with the Pixel 2 XL three months ago. I was an Android user since the beginning. Still not a solid experience. Apps can be flakey. Phone freezes and is just not as zippy and smooth. Love this XR almost as much as my former 7 plus.

As far as keyboards yes the stock IOS keyboard sux. I use SwiftKey. It was my go-to on Android and is on iOS.

What does the 6s have? 1gb? That’s not enough these days to work fluidly...But yes iOS makes the less ram better.

But let’s look at it like this. Most people pay monthly. So $37 a month for XR 256 or $47 a month for XS 256. $10 more a month seems like nothing to go the better route, maybe no?
2 gigs of ram in a 6s. Imo it runs rather fluidly on iOS 12. Certainly can't complain anyway. Same with the SE.
