OK, (sarcasm) time for a not so quick update for all of those still on the edge of your seats (/sarcasm).
So, a couple weeks ago, my girlfriends sister was killed in a bad car accident. The day she got the news, she began pushing me away big time. All that week she didn't want me to be around, and didn't hardly even speak to me after the visitation and funeral. I had enough. New Years Eve came and she decided to hang out with her friends instead of me... she actually told me she would let me know what her plans were, this to her meant, IMing me at 10:30 from her phone when she was at a friends, instead of texting or calling. I was pissed.
She also asked for some space in an email she had sent me shortly after I left her house after he funeral. Whatever, I don't do space, so I just did whatever and didn't talk to her. In the next few days she started taking pictures of me and her down from her facebook and myspace and what not, so I told her that if she wants to break up, she needs to do it and stop taking these little stabs at me. So she send me an email saying she wants to break up. Cool.
What do I do? I go straight to her best friends with all of the info I have on the whole fake people. Turns out they had started figuring it out just a few days before. So we confront her about it and she comes up with some BS story about how she met two guys in a bar and they found her on myspace and that they told her stories of their family and she really wanted to be a part of their family, so she started believing she was a part of their family. She admitted to lying about how she really knew them, when she didn't, she lied about having a god daughter that died last year and that she went to Texas to be with them, and all this other stuff.
So, me being the detective I am, I went to her house and got on her computer (its hers now, her parents paid me 750 for it, 2.0 CD MB with 1gb RAM and superdive, refurb, I did well) anyway, everything was deleted, i mean stuff that I had already seen, like pictures and all this stuff... all of her history was gone, BUT... in safari under the edit menu you can "undo history delete". WHOOPS. So, I undo as many as it lets me and lo and behold she accessed the emails of both of htese "guys" on the morning that the emails were sent to the girls about the lies and what not. Also, she accessed a Facebook account called "Youandme Thomas". I read that aloud and said "Who is Youandme Thomas?" One of her friends said "That was a facebook that I made for Brad and I that NOBODY else knew about". Not even the roomate/best friend new about it. BUSTED.
So I told her last night that she just needed to come clean because there is obviously something mentally wrong with her. I told her how there was no reason to save face and that they hated her already so she had nothing to lose, and everything to gain by just being honest. So she told me that she was going to write everything out and just get it all off her chest and come clean about everything... what do you think she does? Lies AGAIN to the room mate... tells her that there was "so much more details that need to be said" and then goes on to talk about these details... and she didn't say a freakin thing, just kept saying stuff that she had already said in her little story. So, now I'm pissed because she wont be honest, she works at a church, of which I'm going to be sure she gets fired, because this is ridiculous, and at the end of the convo she asked if I wanted a brownie, I accepted even thought I thought she was going to kill me.
