Shipped also, label was created 11:54 last night with arrival tomorrow with "Next Day Air Saver" - I chose expedited so I assume they would've come Friday with standard shipping.
Another thread has confirmed that Comply foam tips work with them.
These things are insane. I do CrossFit and the Powerbeats Pro stay on my ears through all the puddles of sweat and jostling I give them. From burpees, box jumps, jumping rope, muscle ups.... they held on tight. My AirPods and Beats X will now collect dust.
I just tried on a demo unit at an Apple Store in NYC. Since they dispose of tips, the only ones they had left were small, and therefore didn't seal off well. So that wasn't a fair test. They were easy to get on with the rotation technique and felt comfortable and light. Mine are coming Friday so I will soon have more quality time -- including with the Comply tips I ordered.
The thing I wonder about is whether they really will be an upgrade for me from my Jabra Elite Active 65ts. Somehow, these, to me, are the undersung, understated heroes of the truly wireless world. I also have put Comply tips on them, which I jam into the carrying case (and sometimes need to dig out if the earpieces pull out without the tip). But they are ROCK-SOLID in my ears through just about anything and have quite good sound quality. They have also survived torrential downpours for hours. And as BT 5.0 (I believe?) the connection to the phone and/or my watch is very stable. And the case is pretty darn compact. Not quite Airpods, but not far off.
Speaking of which, that Powerbeats case is enormous! The woman at the Apple Store did let me slip it into my coat pocket, and it was quite the bulge.
I've only had one prior experience with Beats and they were the Beats X, which I found to be pretty crappy quality. They had no rain protection and failed (and were replaced). I unfortunately had also bought a pair for my wife, which she rarely used. So my replacement pair and her pair sat unused for a few months, and when I tried to resurrect them for my kid to use, both were irrevocably dead. Out of warranty, Apple had no interest in helping out. So $300-ish wasted. I hope these are higher quality than that.
Airpods, to me, serve a very specific purpose (or purposes). Convenience (particularly for calls), compactness and sheer technological elegance. Unfortunately, Airpods just do not fit me at all. I think the Powerbeats will have the technological elegance (I hope), but not so the other factors.
I guess my point is, I'm clearly being seduced by the Apple marketing gravitational force, but am I really going to be getting anything better than what I have with my Jabras? I guess I will find out soon.
I feel like most people would carry the case in the car, at least me. Since it’s for gym and active stuff which you drive to so wireless charging really doesn’t matter. But I guess they won’t be for everyone.
My responses of your itemized opinions:I’ve decided to return my Powerbeats Pro. I expected to be wowed after the initial reviews, but I wasn’t.
For me it came down to the following:
1. Case is way too big (no excuses for this)
2. No wireless charging option
3. Sound quality is very similar to Airpods
4. Airpods are so much more convenient
5. Airpods have never fallen out during any of my intense workouts. Sweat hasn’t been an issue either
I wanted to love these things, but just can’t justify it. I’ll probably order another Hermès band for my Apple Watch instead of these!

I think the short answer to your question, is, probably not...I mean, at the end of the day, Jabras, Jaybirds, PowerBeats, etc. are wireless buds that fire sound into your ears. They all do this, some better than others. Yes, the Apple gravitational force is always in play, but it comes down to what works for you.
For me, I have Airpods for work use...conference calls, online meetings, etc. But I also go to the gym three to four times a week, and Airpods don't feel secure enough for me, for that. So I've been using a pair of Jaybird Runs for the past year or so for the gym, hiking, bike riding, etc. On the whole, they have been great. But like a lot of other wireless buds, I get sound drop outs now and then...And sometimes if I get sweat on the left Jaybird bud, it dies, or goes into a continuous reset. Are any of these issues life ending things? No...They don't happen that often, but often enough to be annoying sometimes...
So my Powerbeats are replacing my Jaybird Runs, mainly because of the rock solid connection and the long battery life. As far as durability goes, we shall see. I do miss the Jaybirds equalizer (the Jabras have the same). Being able to customize the sound, just for the buds was great. And the Jaybirds are a little easier getting them in and out of my ears. But for me, so far, the Powerbeats have solved my biggest issues...connectivity, battery life and hopefully durability. To be honest, if Jabra or Jaybird could have or can solve the connectivity issues, or had, I probably would have just kept my Jaybird Runs...

Finally got delivered! Will give some impressions later.
I assume they did not have any in stock? Any mention of when they suspect that they will? Asking for a friend...
You are correct, they did not have any in stock. Different employees had different things to say about whether they ever had any in stock, but the most trustworthy was the woman who helped with the demo, who pretty confidently admitted that other than the demo unit, none had come to their location. They also provided no good indication of when they would arrive, unfortunately.
I only have a 2018 IPad Pro which is USB C and wireless charging pads in the house. I don’t have any other cords. I can go buy some but I’ve transitioned to wireless charging and don’t want to go back.Sounds like it Makes since for you. But i think the reason for the case being that big is 24 hours of total use before worrying about being around power. Nothing else has that.
But I am interested, why does wireless charging matter that much to you?

Please tell me if you can find out. if you plug in the case with the buds in it, which charges first. The buds, case or both?
Best Buy order here,
I also have the strange, arriving by Friday, “getting ready” status on one page and “ships by Friday” on another. I did just get charged this morning on my cc. But that happened twice before, both times they dropped off. hopefully this will be a permanent charge and status will update to shipping today.

If the Powerbeats Pro were significantly better than the Airpods 2 (which I anticipated based on initial reviews prior to my usage over 3 days) then I would have dealt with the lack of wireless charging. Just too many compromises for me though with about the same sound quality as my Airpods.
I haven’t tried the Comply tips. Maybe I’ll give them another go during the summer (I really like the white or blue variants anyway). Do the comply tips make that much of a difference? I had my heart set on loving these so I’m slightly surprised and I was a big fan of the Powerbeats 3.When did you order?

It does come with a cord. But I get it. It’s not for everyone. I am coming from beatsx(AirPods hurt and don’t feel good to me) and workout everyday so I can’t wait to try these. Have you tried comply tips? Would help the sound

I ordered mine on the first day and just got notification last night that they will arrive tomorrow. I have been charged. I never got any updates until then.
I'm still on the fence as to if I really need them, but had to try them out since my AirPods often lose connection and I have to remove and reset them. It's highly annoying.
