They both charge but it seems like more priority goes towards the headphones or they charge faster at least. Granted neither were completely dead, but the headphones went up like 5% vs the case going up 1%.
So far I’m very impressed. I had to change the tips out of the box for a different size. That was the same when I had the Powerbeats2 though so expected.
They are better than airpods in almost every way. Sound for sure, which is most important. Battery life, noise isolation.
Two things I liked better on the airpods.
- Touch gestures. I’ll get use to it over time and I knew this already, but being able to tap the unit rather than press a button was easier and required less precision.
- The beats are small but this evening for example I stopped at the grocery store. When in line I’d take one AirPod out and put it in my pants pocket so I can talk for the cashier. I just held the other pro in my hands.
The case is bigger but I don’t see it being an issue for me. I’ve had the airpods since they came out and Didn’t carry that case around so can’t see me needing to carry this one.
If my airpods lasted more than an hour I wouldn’t have upgraded yet. If starting over from scratch is 100% get the beats.
I already worked out before these were delivered. Wore them through the day but can’t wait to take them to the gym tomorrow.
