I am on iOS 9.1 beta on an iPhone 6, Apple Watch still says 1.0.1 your software is up to date.

It was at night here in Hong Kong so when I was updating it and saw 1 hour remaining I went to sleep. Woke up and everything was updated :)

Same here, weird.

I had to check if I have the new time lapse watch face to confirm mine has been updated.

Mine has not updated though... it has never given me the option to update. I have been trying for 4 hours.

Do any of you have any beta profiles on your watch? General/Profiles. If you have one, you will see the profile option - if you don't have one, there won't be a profile option under general.

Yes i had a beta profile for watchOS. I deleted it and tried again. still no luck. Will try restarting after this.

OK so after deleting beta profile and rebooting both the watch and iPhone the update is now downloading. Says it will take 1 day, 1 hour to complete...haha

Sorry, I failed to mention you need to restart so your troubleshooting was right on! Hope it goes faster :)

No beta profile for me, but boy what a pain. Took a few hours to download, another hour or so of 'preparing', and now about 35-40 minutes of 'verifying'.

•On iPhone: Go to settings > general > profile and delete iOS 9 beta
•On watch app: Go to settings > general > profile and delete iOS 9 beta
•restart iPhone and Watch
•Reset network settings on iPhone
•Enjoy watchOS2

I've been stuck on "verifying" for quite some time - how long should that take? And is it doing a verify of the whole 500M download?

Mark
It goes pretty quick. From download to verify to installed and running 1 hour.

DOWNLOADED this morning, went thru verification. Then started downloading again. Huh? Removed 100% charged watch from charger, and about 30 minutes later got a notification on phone that installation on watch had been interrupted. I know the watch has to stay on the charging disc, but it started downloading again...Try again tonight then.

I had a similar issue. I've gone through 4 different downloads, each about an hour. It downloads in its entirety, then says I don't have an internet connection to verify and then starts over. I've got 50 mins left to download 5. No wonder the servers are clogged if we have to download the same file so many times.

I did reboot both watch and phone and it still started over.

I slept too early last night and missed the update. I'm gonna update it tonight...but not until I have completed my activity rings!

Went to bed last with 6 hours remaining on download. Woke middle of night so checked iPhone: it said install had failed then asked for unlock code and began verifying. Glad I did not leave it until morning.

Yup. Installed it while my wife and I went to the post office. Came back to a working WOS2 Watch.
