Anybody with a Caudabe case and iphone 12/Pro?

I’d give the Synthesis a shot but I’m just so satisfied with the Sheath and have it in every color except for Sea Green. Also not sure how I feel about the extra bulk. Don’t get me wrong though if they’re Caudabe they’re going to be A+ quality. Excited to hear the reviews on it as well!
 
My black Synthesis MagSafe for my 12 Pro Max arrived a little while ago and all I can say is wow, they nailed it.

It feels roughly the same thickness as the Sheath I had on the phone, but much, much more stiff. There’s a nice *click* when I put it on the phone. It really snaps on and is on there solidly.

Works fine with my screen protector (non edge to edge) and has a decent lip around the screen, but not enough to hinder swiping.

On the back of the black one, you can see the outline of the magnet area, but it’s not raised (the blue one kinda looks like it’s raised). Haven’t tried my MagSafe charger yet, but I will when I get home.

Grip is a perfect balance between the Sheath and a more slippery case. Slightly less grippy than the Sheath, but plenty of grip. The back has a rough finish that feels awesome and of course the sides have that check pattern that makes them grippy.

I’ll post pictures once I’m home later. I’m very, very pleased so far. This Synthesis feels much thinner than the last one I had (I believe that was for the iPhone X). I feel like they nailed it.

Compared to the Sheath? If so, I'd say the protection would be a bit better simply because the Synthesis is more firm than the Sheath and less likely to give during an impact.

The lip around the screen is basically the same on both cases, as is the camera protection for the rear array.

in you opinion could the magsafe ring inside the case scratch the back part of the iPhone? Can you send a picture of the inside? Many thanks
 
Would of ordered in a heartbeat if this came out 3 months ago. But this close to September ill just have to wait it out for a 12S sheath with MagSafe 🤞🏽

Let me grab a picture of the inside. There's what looks to be a sticker over the magnets, so I don't think there's any worry about the MagSafe part of the case scratching the back of the phone.

Just saw an email from Caudabe of the Synthesis(Magsafe compatible).. waiting on others to write some feedback haha. My MAIN question is.. will it be strong enough for an 12 Pro MAX to hold securely on like a Belkin MagSafe car vent mount.

If you scroll up, I posted my initial thoughts on the one that arrived yesterday for my 12 Pro Max, along with some pictures.

However, I don’t have a magnetic vent mount, so I can’t test that (and I wouldn’t trust it anyway).

True, I have AppleCarPlay so I don't even know why I'm worried about using a Magsafe vent car mount. Honestly I haven't adopted MagSafe yet, still so used to using cables

Is the new Synthesis able to lay flat on a table without wobbling from the camera sticking out? The last time I had one of those was my iPhone X and I remember liking how the 4 corners were raised so that it laid flat.

I can only comment on the 12 Pro Max version, but while the corners still have those slightly raised points, because of the camera lip, it does rock a bit. It’s not a huge amount of rocking, but it’s there.

Was wondering that, think i will just stick with my nomad magsafe. It’s over $50AUD anyway.
