Anyone buying two watches on day one?

Yes will be getting one for me and one for my wife, really looking forward to them, they're an anniversary gift to each other.
 
I'd love to get one for my husband so I can use the extra communication methods, but I haven't convinced him to carry a mobile phone yet, so no chance.

Yeah,I guess if he's not carrying a phone...... He for sure won't do the watch. Lol.
 
Because I am at the upper limit of wrist size (200 mm), my current plan is to pre-order 3 (leather, milanese loop, and link). I'll then try them on at the store, decide which one fits, and then cancel the other 2 orders.

My significant other is Korean, so we're a biracial, biOS couple, LOL...

(I keep her in SSG Note's, a small price to pay for someone that puts up with my ***** every day :) )

Yes. One for me (SS 38, leaning toward modern buckle, maybe Milanese loop) and one for my husband. He's debating. Maybe SS 42 sport band. Maybe he'll go for Space Gray Sport in 42 mm.

Anniversary present. 5 years in April.

(ps. I totally agree that the fun elements of the Watch require that you have people close to you to share them with. Apple is counting on everyone feeling that way. ;))
 
Not Any Longer

Was going to purchase two Rose Gold Editions with Red Bands.

However, I decided to hold out for the Platinum Edition due to the rumors. :apple:

Same combo for my wife and I. The SS is nice, but not a big fan of the chrome looking finish. I wish it was more of a matte finish, then I'd be all over it.
 
I'm getting one for myself for sure, probably white sport. Hubby wants to wait and see what he thinks of mine but I think I'll just get the space gray sport for him and call them anniversary presents.

I'll probably pre-order first and then go try them on the next day. Ideally it would be nice to try them on before the pre-order but if I wait until the store opens, the pre-sales will have started hours before and likely any launch day stock will be sold out.

If I go to the store and have a change of heart about color or size then I can cancel my preorder but I've been looking at lots of picture and done the print outs so I'm 95% sure :p

Same for me. I'm concerned that by the time I get off work and get to a Apple Store all the day one pre-orders will be gone. So ordering at 12:01am :)

Yep, I plan to pre-order 2 sport watches (one for me and for my hubby). We've been Fitbit Flex users for 2 years and are ready to ditch them.

Ha! That's so funny. My fiancee does a lot of walking so I was contemplating a Fitbit. Now with the Apple watch having built in fitness and more,I decided to go this route. :)

I think so. My wife definitely wants a Sport.

I really like the space black stainless steel with the link bracelet, but that's $1099. The functionality is the same, so I have a hard time paying an extra $600 or so over the Sport for appearance only.

Maybe next gen I'll go for the SS, but I'll probably go with a Sport this time to get my feet wet.

Im doing the same thing excpet its wont be a surprise. She's heard me talking about it for a long time now and was like I want one. Her birthday is May 1st so its gonna be an early birthday present.
 
I'd like someone to share the digital touch features with. Any girls under 20 here? Or even 25 lol? I'm 17 and will marry anyone who has an Apple Watch ;) I really am jealous of the couples who both are getting a Watch. I have two sisters who have no interest, and two parents with no interest.

I bet you'll quickly find plenty of friends who have the Apple Watch or want to know more about it. Could be a decent icebreaker with the women. :)
