No, but it's exciting for people. That seems like a problem for you.

Not at all, why would you do something as aggressive and unnecessary as saying that? I basically commented what I said because I do not see a lot of buzz around it (it comparison with, for example, the launch of the iPhone or even the iPad).

It’s official the stores have “lines of people” - I am very intrigued with hearing this. A lot of people want to see the new device in all its glory.

No one at mine yet. They have some things roped off but not designation of what’s what line and only one.

Sometimes you have to play the game even though you don’t like the rules.

But I do challenge you to take this: https://www.footprintcalculator.org

I am not proud of my result, but I do go more than halfway through the year before I have used the available resources which is much better than the average European
I've done it but I'm not going to be guilt-tripped by a very biased bunch of questions. I enjoy meat very much but I haven't flown for 5 years and am not going to be flying this year or next. What should I do? Shoot myself?

Our species has long since devolved into a hostility-by-default modus operandi. It's just what we are now.
Our species just likes to talk about things and sound smart. We're largely not, we've just gotten good at sounding like we know what we're talking about and what's going to happen all the time. Most of it is just projection of insecurities on others. Some people choose to use MacRumors forums to project that garbage unfortunately.

This quiz doesn’t ask the most important question of all: how many kids did you bring into the world?

Nothing is worse for the environment than making babies yet these kinds of quizzes always ignore that and instead focus on shaming you for what car you drive or how much you fly.

So, I went to the Apple Store in my area this morning - I got there by 8:15am, and there was no line. It's probably because Phoenix is spread out, and there are other stores way more populated than the store I went to...

But it was super easy to walk in and get a demo. I only had to wait 30 minutes or so :)

I will not be purchasing just yet, but more so wanted the launch day experience of being at an Apple Store. Great energy and everyone in the store was really amped.

We aimed for break even. Two out of and two in to the world. But true. The product of human life style and numbers of human living like that just doesn’t match the available resources. Sad but true. One of the factors have to go down eventually.

Tried the same quiz and just adding a car and a bit more standard things that we don’t do, but is pretty common. That tipped the balance from needing 1.3 to 4 earths. So if calculation is correct cars matter.

Anyway. This is getting way off topic. My point was just that there are more important things to solve than what AVP can offer. Back in line.

and what did you think of the demo?

Did anyone actually "camp out" for this?

For real?

Why?

This is literally the biggest thing to happen in our industry since iPhone. That's why. This is a new gold rush for developers, and a whole new world opening up for consumers.

Demand seems incredibly high, but people need to stay calm. Apple are working hard to get Vision Pro onto the heads of as many customers ASAP.
