I actually like it. It doesn’t bother me at all. Just hope releases an update that shows the battery % inside the battery logo cause I really depend on it lol
Just pull down control panel, it’s there

How can you possibly love it? It obscures part of the display in games and video. It's not symmetrical. It's a piece of crap. Just admit it and say you are ok accepting it.

Honestly it doesn’t bother me at all. Coming from an se that screen was the size of a credit card, it’s perfect. Before we had a big bar at the top and bottom and now we have a notch. To me it doesn’t even seem like a big deal. It kinda helps also when answering the phone, which side is up.

These Notch discussions will eventually fade and others will accept it for what it is. And those shun the Notch , can utilize another device or choose not to support the iPhone X at all. It's fairly simple.

It's actually not that simple. Apple's new phones all seem to be going the notch route.

So if someone dislikes the notch the choice is stick with an aging phone or switch to Android. Neither of which are no-brainer options.

The notch seems sort of an inelegant solution to the problem. More Microsoft, than Apple.

That’s not what I meant, it’s simple enough where something so minuscule doesn’t need to be blown out of proportion to be something significant when the consumer has choices. If someone doesn’t like something, then move on to something else that will appease to you. Only on tech forums are a very strong vocal minority, it’s not the majority. Outside tech forums, I have never heard anyone complain of the notch.

Furthermore, it’s been rumored that other smart phone manufactures may follow the Notch design as well. So It’s not just the iPhone either.

While Android dominates the middle and low-end of the global smartphone market, Apple controls much of the high-end with users who spend more on apps and other services. Embracing the notch may help change that. The design will mean more new Android phones with cutouts at the top of their screens to fit cameras and other sensors. That will likely support new features, helping Android device makers keep up with similar Apple technology.
