Anyone else buying a car mount for their new iPhone?

Brodit for me too. I tried many other mounts, including most on this thread, before trying a Brodit, but nothing even comes close. Hope they hurry up and release the mount for the 6+.

Yes, it absolutely does. Even though I love the magnet design I switched to this one. It's almost as easy to get the phone in and out, even one-handed. And you don't have to insert anything in your case. You can even use it with a naked iphone. I'm much happier with this one. See my post above, but the magnet mount actually resulted in a cracked case and scratches on the back of my phone due to dust and dirt getting inside of it.

Nope my home brew solution ram mount has worked from iphone 4s all the way to the 6+ (tested the case I have for my 6+ and it fits beautifully).

I'd like a mount. Just not confident in how well it'll hold up on the dash or window.
 
I just got my iOttie Easy One Touch 2 and let me tell you that thing is a dream. Easy to install, and does so beyond securely. Easy to release your phone, even easier to install, with just the pressure of putting your phone in the cradle the phone clicks in snugly. The extendable arm is actually really useful, as are the other two parts of the 3 point adjustability. Little to no Shake and is actually very small and won't obstruct anything more than your phone screen will, nor even be visible behind it, provided you have at least an iPhone 6.
 
Another vote for Proclips. Can be a little expensive but it's worth it for the quality of the holder, as well as getting charging capabilities.

I second the iOttie BUT I went with the Easy View 2 due to some reports of bouncing with the Easy One Touch 2, I have another model now for my 5S and they are solid as a rock.

Got it yesterday and have been using it with my 5S. Love it way better than the previous version. The extending arm makes it way easier to touch the screen when necessary and I can see much easier now than how I had the previous one setup.
 
I love the airframe mount but I found a knock off version for much less. I doubt it's the same quality but I only need to use it occasionally. I don't own a car in NYC but I rent them when I travel. This is perfect. (Also, the 2 reviews are likely faaaake. lol)

I am looking at getting the iOttie Easy Touch 2 for my iphone 6 in addition to the generic CD Slot mount i bought off eBay for 6 bucks shipped.

looks quality and also i like how you can extent it . I would hate to have to reach to dismiss a call or txt ( dont text and drive :) )
