Anyone else camping at the Apple Store?

I bet the stores have some stock for warranty replacement or to swap out their demo devices when one fails. And if that is the case, then on an individual basis some employee might use one from that stock to do your switch. I doubt that is "allowed" but the Apple employees aren't robots. Sometimes they just do whatever they want.

FYI, if you were a really good looking woman, I suspect your odds of getting the swap would go up. But still a long shot today.

Incase you have not caught on yet this is a joke. I do not expect there to be any stock in stores at all.

True... but being given access to something (seeing the exercise research facility) to further Apple's needs (ie huge amount of publicity from the segment airing on the news) doesn't guarantee that Apple will offer similar inside information in other areas (Ops plans and launch availability.

The veil of secrecy at Apple is akin to an onion in my mind... you may be able to peel back one or a few layers but as soon as Apple decides you've got all the info they want to share that's all you will get.

I work out 5 to 6 times a day with at least 60 mins of cardio. Totally a gym addict here. However, I am so desperate enough to dress like a girl, but I do think it would scare the crap out of them.
