The forums and the homepage are really slow. Editing was horribly slow yesterday. MacRumors is the slowest site I visit semi regularly.

yeah yesterday the forum was terribly slow, but today also it is taking much time to load.

I'm still having periods of snail-like response..... like clicking "Reply" to thread or User CP and wait over a minute before it responds. No problems with other sites.

As of Sun, Jan 10, 2:13AM Central Time, the forum seems to have slowed to a crawl.... painfully slow.... click "User CP" or "Reply" to a thread, wait 5 minutes..

I've tried different browsers and different computers including Macs and PCs.

Yea, same here, the past day or two there's been more frequent times where I'm waiting up to a minute for a page to be processed. I'm sure a lot of it has been an increase in traffic due to tablet rumors, and tomorrow it'll likely be even worse. Hope the coverage here goes smoothly though like last time on the home page.

Not having the issue here. I just attached an image on a post a couple of minutes ago with no loss of speed.

It's been intermittently slow for me for the past year or so. I have just come to expect it. Many times, my browser will sit there with "Waiting for forums.macrumors.com" in the status bar.

Usually it's pretty quick for me, but the last attachment took between 5 and 7 minutes to attach.
