iPhone X Anyone else here turn off True Tone ?

natural light is not yellow tint. I like my whites to be white

I turned it off, just couldn't get use to it.

Off at first. But then turned off night shift and turned true tone back on. I think that's the right combo. Looks good to me.

Just recently turned it off. I like it better. I have an original iPad Air and I always preferred that to the true tone.

Then you need to understand natural light comes in several flavours. D65 and D50 are the two main ones and D50 (which is an industry standard) is yellowish, not pure white. Apple is handling this per standards, something people in the industry like and appreciate.

Also, I don't have yellowing of my pictures. Like I said, the color reporduction is quite accurate for being only 4 LEDs on a night scene pic.

On the 8 Plus it’s great. On my former iPhone X it was a salmon pink to baby aspirin orange. It looks good on my husband’s iPhone X, though. Go figure.

I prefer it on with both my ipad and iphone 8. I find that off is too blue and bothers my eyes.
