Mine's been broken for a week now. They came and replaced the breaker two different times and it didn't fix the problem. Dummies need to replace the compressor now which could've been done a week ago! It has been the hottest week of the summer unfortunately.

With that said, I'm pretty cold natured so I haven't been too miserable. But I'm definitely ready for it to be fixed.

South Floridian here, with the coastal humidity, A/C is a must, only about a week or two where the A/C can be off the windows open.

I have A/C at "home" but am never there to use it.

I keep the A/C going as much as possible where I actually live, even if it is below freezing outside.

Maybe I'm just a touch weird...

I'm thankful for my AC. . . and the new programmable thermostat I just installed. They're saying it's going to top out at around 110 today. In the living area of my house, the fan does a wonderful job keeping things cool, but in the sleeping area the fan just isn't up to the task. I guess it balances out, though, because I don't use the heat in the winter.

Same, good stuff, although the last few days have been hot, so i took a fan out of the loft ^_^
