I upgraded from a 5s to a 6s+ while my husband chose the regular 6s because he likes a smaller phone. I had to use his phone to look up something last night and I wanted to throw it out the window of the moving car because it was so damn small and hard to navigate! I've only had the 6s+ for a month but it's safe to say I don't think I'll ever want to go back to something smaller!

My company gave me a 4s for work, the thing is like a little childs toy compared to my 6s plus

Apple will never make a 5" or larger iphone. Jobs would never let that happen. Mark my words! :)

No way will there ever be a 3.5 inch iPhone again. I'm sure they'll make a 4 inch in the future though.

RIP 3.5" with huge bezels.

Same thoughts... my first iphone = 3GS 2011... Then i jumped ship to android camp because they were offering 5" screens which were imperative to me and essential [and i still thought phablets sized were crazy].. Both the s4 and s6 since they were identical in screen size only... and iphone 4/4s/5/5s were disappointing because not much change at all...

But Guess what... I'm back to the iPhone 6s+ due to very fluid performance and iOS 9 is showing vast improvement compared to previous iOS 3-7 where it was very limited. After using a samsung s6 which was 5.1" the 4.7" iPhone 6s was too small for me. So eventually I just kick it for the 6s+ 5.5". 0.4" difference only, didn't hurt much. neither does the bezels annoy me. I'm perfectly fine with it, unlike some "others" who love nitpicking the very irrelevant detail when it's the screen that matters.

To be honest I dont miss 3.5 inch phones, too small for me and I always favor two handed typing. more fast you cram in so much quicker and it's less likely to drop compare to trying to one-hand wing it. plus phones using 2 hand more stable!

I was one of those that left the Apple ecosystem for Android just for screen size, but the 6+ brought me back. Last night, I found an old 4s and I immediately missed the form factor. If Apple released an iPhone 7 with the screen size of the 4/4s, would you be interested? Or is screen size > portability?
Simple: nope.

Like many others, I like the 4 inch form factor, but there's no way I could go back to 3.5 inches.

I think it's more about the biggest screen size that's useable with one hand.

I love the build quality of the 4s, it reminds me of my old Leica cameras. The compact size it great when I want to be out and about town because I barely notice it in my pocket.

I like the larger screen size of the 6s though. I wish there was a way to be able to activate a particular device as needed and have it be designated as the active phone until you choose another device.

It's a complex answer for me. I would be in favour of a 4" phone, as it is, in fact, a small and portable device. 3.5" is kinda pointless though. However, I'm still a bigger fan of a 4.5" or 4.7" phone, as the screen is bigger, thus easier to see, yet the device isn't too much bigger. However, anything 5"+ is way beyond what I would want.

Oh hellz no. I honestly have a hard time imagining I'd ever wanna go smaller than my 6S Plus at this point. Took about 5 minutes getting used to it, coming from a 5S, and now the 6 feels like a toy in comparison.

5.2" with reduced bezels would be perfect for me.

I had a 4S within a couple of weeks of its release but skipped the 5 and 5s, because the size increase wasn't enough of an increase, and finally upgraded to the 6s. The 4.7" phone size is almost perfect to me, but a larger display with reduced bezels and increased display resolution would make it all I could want as far as overall size and display go.

I have a friend whose Samsung S5 has a noticeably crisper display than my 6s. I prefer the external form factor of the Samsung S5 and S6 but prefer even more the Apple ecosystem, so I stay with iPhones.

I think the 4" screen from the 5/5s is probably the smallest I'd go. And to think when the 6 was released, I originally balked at purchasing it and just keeping my 5s at the time. Now I'm so used to the 4/7" I don't think I could go back to using a 4" or even 3.5" screen iPhone.

Absolutely not. Reading articles alone is enough reason for me not to miss 3.5".

The only reason I don't miss a 3.5" phone is because I'm still using one. My 4s is still plugging away happily, even on iOS 9. I would happily buy a new one if it supported ApplePay, but I'm sure the best I could possibly hope for is a 4" substitute.
