Anyone else feel this way?
Background info - initially was on board with Apple, had the very first model and the 3g, and then moved to Android's Note series for the bigger screen.
Note 3 term expired last month, and needed a new phone - loved the screen of the 6+ and purchased it on the day of release. 3 days later I returned it - I just couldn't get around how much wasted space there was and kept imagining what the 6+ could have been if it had smaller bezels. (And I won't lie, bendgate had me worried as I work in trades and even in a case, my phones take some decent abuse).
My search for an optimal screen with not a lot of wasted space led me to the Blackberry Passport (I know, I'm crazy, but I liked the square display), and the Huawei Ascend Mate 7, which has an amazing screen and hardly any bezels. Went with the BB in the end.
The thinness on the 6+ is nice, but would anyone really object to a thicker phone, smaller bezels, and a bigger battery, or am I crazy for thinking this way?
So don't go on vacation to London England. You will hate the rain, and decide to come back early.
The iPhones have pretty much always had a lot of 'real estate' at the top and bottom of the screen. I don't see the 6+ having that much 'wasted' space. We get a bigger battery, and such with that 'wasted space'.
At some point, the size gets to be a bigger problem than the benefits. Phones 'bending' is going to become a larger issue over time. Having physical keys is going to be a much bigger issue, and sooner too I'd wager.
The time for physical keys (and track balls) is over, done, history.
All I kept hearing at one company I consulted with was how much the keyboard sucked and the 'track ball' jammed. BlackBerry's were 'required' by upper management because he was the only one that could type well on them. They even bought the software that routed your Exchange email to the devices, and put up with the crappy service of Sprint, and the fact that EVERY EMAIL was forwarded, including ALL of the junk/spam...
As soon as the iPhone came out, a few of the lower echelon people started buying them and using them for their personal email/texting, and they caught on with others who forwarded their corporate email through Outlook to their iPhones. The HUGE outage for Blackberry users was the beginning of the end for them and those devices.
Then the BB 'evangelist' was fired... *POOF* went the Blackberry's...
Blackberry had their ride to fame. They 'owned' the market for a long time. However, unless they carve out a niche market (like ultra security, satellite, whatever) they will die as a company, orphaning all of the people that still cling to their dated technology...

When I first saw the IPhone 6Plus I thought the bezels could do with some shrinking. Aesthetically it's not as pleasing to my eye. But after actually using the device, especially for making videos, I'm so thankful they are there! As it is, my fingers keep hitting the screen and engaging the AE/AF lock and messing up my pics and vids as I get used to using this IPhone. It would be a lot worse for me if the bezels were shaved down even a few millimeters. I'm no longer in the camp that desires the form factor altered to reduce bezel size.
I think the Plus is fine as it is. If I could make a change to the 6 I'd make it a bit thicker to give it a more robust battery and have the camera no longer protrude. That's it.
It's awkward holding and hitting the 'shutter button' enough already with the 5. Some size and space would make the one handed quick snap a better and easier experience...

What does "the keys actually have 'caps'?" mean?
I'm looking at my iPhone keyboard that is always caps and it even has the ability to change, yet it does not.
Physical key caps. Like the old keyboards in the IBM era. I've seen Blackberrys that are missing the physical key caps...
