The Japanese have a more efficient 5 step program, but despite it's success rate and great reviews, people always say that its European counterparts have help programs with more passion.
Five steps makes more sense, since an odd number is luckier.

I used to, but I may cme on these forums 1 or twice a day mostly to read, before I have 500 posts I was on here a lot to achieve my avatar, now If I want to post I will, I normally post here if I have a problem/question or feel I can answer a question well.

So far, 74 posts in a thread about posting less frequently. And counting.

Just goes to show, given the opportunity, some people will babble about nothing. ;)
Why do you think the post counts in the political forums were stopped.;)

I've posted here 15 times in the last 3 months, and I used to sometimes post 15 times in a day. How did I do it?

I got a hobby... something else constructive, but fun, to occupy my time. This is also how I quit gaming.

Good luck on your quest.

I do not mean this as criticism, but this forum is dominated by a group of folk who have been together for a long time. I notice you prefer to talk among yourselves. New people are politely ignored. I figure it is just an evolutionary process.

I wouldn't say that. Of course there is a hardcore group who gather in the Community Discussion area and immerse themselves in very long conversations between no more than a few of them about more general conversational things, but if you go into the specialised areas of the forum like Photography, Design, Games, etc the focus is much more on what you know and what you say, rather than who said it.

In fact, compared to other forums I have frequented in the past, this forum is notable for its complete absence of big, dominating personalities - which is a good or bad things depending on how you see it. Unlike the board I used to visit, I can't imagine what anyone on here is like in the real world from the conduct of their posting. That might be because the old board had a very general purpose and as a result people would only really go on there to chat, whereas on here people will simply come to checkup on the latest news/rumours, then disappear again.

Nope...I'm getting the posting bug.... I go through this stage, especially in the winter.Once the weather warms up, I'll disappear again!

I have. Now excuse me, I seem to have got lost. Could someone show me the way out?

I took a month off and apart from the lonely nights of crying myself to sleep, I was fine.

hmm, i don't think you took a month off. i call bs! i've noticed my daily average going up from when i first started posting. two a day, to three, to four and now 5.4 posts per day. but i'm not addicted, i tell you. i'm not.

Actually, I'm just short of 500, and this post will help, so I shall therefore make it.

My average is a nice 1.x so I'm happy with my lack of addiction.

No, really, I did. I think it was March. I can look over my sales reports to tell you more accurately.

i don't know that it was a full month of NO mad jew, but you were certainly scarce around these parts in late feb and most of march if i recall correctly.

Yeah- it was right around the time I became a demi, I think it was nearly a full month.

I am posting less and not checking macrumors 15X a day anymore because I suddenly became insanely busy.

I took a temporary job to help get out of some serious debt and now all of my free time is spent with my kids and my husband. Some days now, I forget to even check MR
