i started as a distracting from writing my thesis, which is still undone but I've defended and received a grade already. I'm trying to kick MR - at least the forums, but so far unsuccessful.

I took a month off and apart from the lonely nights of crying myself to sleep, I was fine.
I took 3.5 weeks off in 2005 for a big vacation, and I went cold turkey. I don't think I could stay off the forums for even a week if I was at home.

Actually, I'm trying to post more. You see with each person I help a little bit on a question, I get some more good Karma points.

High score wins! :)

I really like MR, and I would post a lot each day the first summer I was on here, but I did it less and less when I started school, so I really got lost on the whole Intel thing, and last summer, I started to spend more time messing with Wikipedia. I came back because I had a lot of cell phone issues and shopping questions, which I'd post here, but I wouldn't get a lot of answers, so I joined cell phone forums. I really started to spend the most time here late last fall, and it's become an addiction. I'll constantly check my UserCP the entire night, pronlonging homework to be done at lunch, if at all.

I'm going to really start posting less because I'll be volunteering at a hospital this summer and I'll be doing a lot of film work. Plus, I'm starting a new school next year, and I want to become more serious about my work. So, don't expect to see me around here very much anymore....:(

I'm not trying to post here any less, usually I visit several times a day, unless I am on a trip somewhere without internet acess.

I used to see people post like this, that is until they realize that double posts don't count towards their post count. :(

My ppd rate has been dropping slowly for awhile now. :)

Pffft, that's nothing. Jew once posted 30 times in one day in the advice forums, and every single post advised the OP to "Repair permissions."
Thirty posts in a day?! I could certianly NEVER do that!

Yes they do.... that's why the mods merge 'em.

I say I'll cut back but every time I do the urge returns, But I promise that once summer hits I will not post as much since I will be outside more.:)

I feel like I'm just wasting my life away, 4.02 posts per day average is just sad. I mean, I could really be more productive during the time I spend on MacRumors, by posting more efficiantly.

Here's to a 6 posts per day average! :)

No...MR rocks, and I've start to spend more time on the internet. I started using facebook recently, and thats cut into my MR time, so if anything I'm try to post here more!

Lies! They're all LIES!
What?! I don't know what you're talking about

Good luck- six posts a day is a hard number to reach.
