I find it odd that I have to enable a passcode then set either a 4 digit or other typed passcode to use the fingerprint scanner. Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the fingerprint scanner because you cant use it as a standalone?
The reason for this is so obvious.

If you are in a single car crash in a remote area and you finger tip are cut from broken glasses, the 4 digit unlock code will come in handy.
Good luck getting coverage in that remote area, especially with AT&T.
