For the same reason, I don't have much affection for laptops; I don't care for keyboard cases. I have the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case; it is a good one. The problem I have is the way the keyboard folds away and with the keys out. You can remove it, of course, I prefer to keep everything together. there are some keyboard cases where the keyboard rotates around, but they are very bulky. I find the Otterbox Folio case a good one. The Zugu Case improves on the folio cover.
I flip the keyboard over on my Logitech Combo and reattach. That way, the keyboard stays together with the case, but they're protected.

I searched for a long time for an iPad pro M4 case that would protect the iPad all around while not being too bulky and don’t case/housing for pencil. I found the perfect solution, and it’s a case from Pipetto Origami No1. Iam very happy whit this case.

I have the base Pipetto case. I did not like the open bottom and the need to add more to it to get the protection I wanted. I rather liked the Otterbox Symmetry 360 Folio case, but I was not enamored with the magnetic attachment of the folio cover. I have the Logitech Combo cover, but I did not like having a keyboard; it bulked up the iPad. When Matt turned me on to the Zugu case, it was the end of my search. The ESR case is also a close match. But I like the simple method the Zugu uses to store the Pencil. Above, you can see the secure slot the Pencil mounts in for charging.

I agree with you; my iPad is protected on all sides, including the bottom. See more photos.

Looking at this case, I realized I have a different case. I lost track of what I had tried. What I have is the Pitaka iPad case for the 13" M4 PRO. The open bottom makes it usable with the Apple Magic keyboard for the iPad. It also has other add-ons like a handled carrying case that it magnetically latches into.

I don’t use a keyboard with my iPad, so I don’t consider those solutions. 😀 Zug was in my shortlist, but compared to Pipetto, it’s much bulkier. I dismissed ESR right away because, when the closing part is attached to the tray, it becomes way too thick. I searched for other solutions everywhere, from Amazon to AliExpress, and nothing even came close to my choice. Overall, I’m very satisfied, and if someone is looking for this type of solution, I highly recommend it.
