the old apple leather sleeve fits the 11" m4 iPad and pencil pro perfectly. I got it for only $23. currently out of stock at woot, but comes in and out all the time.

you guys can probably find it elsewhere too.

for less than $25, it's a great deal
Had one of these with my (beloved, honestly) 10.5" iPad Pro. Just found one on eBay for $30 and got it - thanks for the recommendation!

Thanks - I just pre-ordered the Burton case in Onyx for my 11” IPP. Admittedly, it was expensive, but hopefully it’s worth it.
It’s unfortunate that Burton is one of the only options for such a case. Dodo makes one which is less expensive but it doesn’t look as good to me and I don’t like those elastic straps. But it could be a very good alternative if price is the primary consideration. I’m curious why other companies have not offered such a case design

Also with both cases, the design creates additional stability under the hinge of the MKB. That would seem to please those who have complained about the keyboard wobbling or tipping.

I will be getting Zugu case for iPad but it not released yet and it is highly rated and on here too. This will be my first Zugu case. I have emailed them last night and they replied this morning saying they are waiting to get iPads first and see if compatible with current case and if not then they will make new case and release in USA June/July then Europe shortly after.

So at moment I be borrowing tablet sleeve from Dad and find cheap temp case somewhere when more available (choices limited at moment) and get cheap case until Zugu case released.

My wife and I have had a few ZUGU cases for our iPads. Love them.

I have pre-ordered one myself. I also emailed them to suggest they offer a keyboard case option such as Burton does. There are only 2 such options I could find, Burton and Dodo. I’d love to see a Zugu version.

I loved my Zugu for my M1 12.9” iPad Pro. I did pre-order one for my M4 13” iPad Pro. I’m a bit confused why they would take pre-orders if there not sure if the old case would work with the M4???

I’ve recently traded emails this the company. Great people!!!

Must be pretty sure by now old case won’t fit new one.

Well it just occurred to me I do have the old one from my trade-in of my M1. I should try it on my M4. Duh, on me!:p I'll report back. But I can't imagine the old one would work on the M4.

I have been using my old Zugu case from the 12.9 M1 with my 13 m4 iPad since it came out. It is a very tight fit and the speaker and microphone holes don’t match, also the auto on/off does not work but it will hold me over until the new one shows up.

DO NOT buy the ESR case. The screen doesn't turn off when you close it. There is a "hack" tht you just place some post-it in the bottom left corner and fixes the issue.

They are aware of this and they are preparing an update.
Agreed same thing 8 noticed so i5 was returned same day i5 arrived

is the post-it to be placed on case or ipad?

any picture is really helpful.
thanks

I got the OtterBox Statement Series Studio along with my 11“ M4 purchase, I really dislike it. It‘s pretty heavy and way too difficult getting my iPad in and out of the case. And the screen cover doesn’t actually cover the entire screen at the top, instead it leaves a tiny gap that I assume is for opening? Either way it’s really hard to actually get a grip to pull the damn thing open. My old case overlapped a bit so you could pull it open from above, or just open it from the exposed side. This thing is covered everywhere and it’s impossible to open the cover apart from a long-ish nail into that abysmal gap.
Lacks typing view in opposite orientation as well. And the pen cover slides out really easy if you try to grip the bottom to get the integrated kickstand out. Volume buttons barely protrude and are incredibly mushy. Also a bit concerned with the thermals with this thing, seems to trap a lot of the heat inside unless I open up the integrated kickstand. Had residue glue in some spots as well… I can’t believe Apple sells this thing on their store, especially for the price!

Bummer. I was looking at this one as well because of the kickstand. I really liked it on my Logi Combo Touch for my 5th Gen Air but turns out I didn't need the keyboard as much as I thought I did. So was looking for kickstand type alternatives. Bummer.

I found a case I like. It’s the Pitaka Magez 2 Folio. It is lightweight and sturdy in the 4 positions you can put it into. I have the Apple folio case here too, and the Pitaka is much sturdier while being a little lighter in weight. The pitaka case also has a portrait position, which the apple folio doesn’t have.

The case has a decent feel to it, again better (and $30 cheaper) than the apple folio.

Well I guess this is the current winner from my list. I like it because it has that origami folding like the Moshi Versa covers. How is it when in portrait? The problem w/ the Moshi was it kind of was floppy and leaned when in Portrait. Is the Pitaka sturdy both ways?

ESR are pretty decent when it comes to customer support. I contacted them about the standard magnetic folio not being able to wake or sleep when shut and they have straight away refunded me. Also they have let me decide what to do with the folio case. Prolly keep it as a spare as I have purchased their Ascend Keyboard case and it works for me better.

I also had a follow up from ESR customer support after the ESR Shift failed to live up to my expectations.

They sent me a Rebound Hybrid 360 to improve my experience. I am quite impressed with the case, whilst it doesn't have the high-level viewing position of the Shift, it does offer a number of landscape and portrait viewing angles. The magnetic clasp ensures that the front cover remains securely closed, which addresses the problem I had with the Shift. The Rebound Hybrid is still rather chunky compared to the Apple Smart Folio, but the inner case provides full body protection which makes it a good option for use outside of the home. I think I will use the Smart Folio at home and the Rebound Hybrid when travelling.

AliExpress came in clutch with this case ordered it a few days ago and it arrived today.

It's a magnetic smart folio case feels just like the official Apple case and it's also the same exact one of some of the bigger manufacturers like Benks and I believe Pitaka

Paid $16 for it

Ryan London have leather sleeves for both new iPads, with or without magic keyboard - I have one of their sleeves for my MBP16 and it’s really nice, good value, great leather.
