I want to go nekkid really bad. I keep putting back on the Apple Silicon case that I bought. I'm surprised but I really like the way the case feels. Nekkid - a lot harder to grip and hold. I was... however... intending to go nekkid with this phone. I was case free with my 4s and 5.

The Apple Silicon case just fits so nicely, and feels so good to hold. So much so that I'm not ordering a plethora of cases like usual. :p

What does to matter what it looks like if it’s constantly covered in a case? Seems senseless to “save it” but never truly get to appreciate it.

Take it out and appreciate it once in awhile. I see many totally ganked up phones and I know I couldn’t appreciate looking at that. Plus you will appreciate the resale experience of the mint cased phone down the road.

The only thing ... that had me go back to the Apple silicon case is that - it doesn't add much heft or weight. That and picking it up off the desk is a lot easier with the silicon case.

Agreed though. I couldn't stand the last generation design caseless because it was too slippery. This phone is amazing.

For now I’m case free on the PB Pro here. I didn’t want to cover up this phone with a case so I bought the clear Apple one and decided it’s ugly as hell so returned it.

My plan is to wait for someone to make a “case” that’s really just a flat backing to cover the back glass (no side covering at all) - attaches with strong magnets. Think the iPad Pro folio without the front cover. That would be awesome! I’m sure someone on amazon will make that. If not, maybe I can get creative myself.

I’m going to go caseless at home and use either a thin Spigen or Totallee clear case. I have a Totallee think clear case on my XS Max and it’s so thin, that I’ve had coworkers ask why I don’t have a case on my phone.

Clear film on the sides and back. Glass protector on the front. Close to naked but a little bit of protection.

I was thinking about it, but then I quickly remembered how I broke back glass on my beloved iPhone 4. Getting some sturdy Spigen, Ciel or UAG case.

10 years of iPhones and I have never dropped one. I am concerned about the 12 Max Pro and its size and bulkiness so I am going to go caseless. I took my 11 Pro Max out of its leather case at the weekend and have been using it naked. Its like a new phone. Apart from appreciating how good it looks, its so much easier to use than when its in a case. It feels slimmer and smaller but still with the same screen size. I have a bumper arriving for the 12 Pro Max but what i might do is get a sleeve for carrying the 12 Max Pro around only and go caseless when around the home or out and about in bars and restaurants. I think that when you go caseless, you are more aware about handling the phone carefully
