Anyone going from the 6S to the 7?

A better battery, faster processor and water resistance are exclusive new features.

True but for me they are minor. Water resistance may make folks that swim often or like to shower with their phones happy. It is also hard for me to get excited about 1 hour more battery life. Processor wise, there wasn't anything slowing the 6s down that I was aware of so more speed is nice but nothing anyone is looking for..

I'm going from 6s+ to 7+

Hubby is going from 6s to 7

Or if you are on ATT Next plan and can upgrade every year for only the price of sales tax :p

Uhm.... I'm queen of putting spin on getting deals/sales... but this is even a stretch for me! :p

I'm upgrading my 6s purely because I'm on the IUP. Although I think I'm going to wait to if the new loan from Citizens a hard or soft pull before I make a final decision.

If I bought my 6s outright, I would be hard pressed to upgrade. Although I'm sure I would eventually bite the bullet anyway since I upgrade yearly.

If you don't need the 3.5 I think the 7 is a very worthwhile upgrade. OIS, waterproofing, battery & speed, eliminated home button. Assuming you're the type to consider annual upgrades in the first place, in which case an argument against it seems more like justification.

I'm going from 6 to 6s because the 3.5 is still valuable to me.

Thought Jet black at first, read the disclaimer and changed my mind.

you may be stuck either way... possible scratches on Jet Black, versus fingerprints on black. Makes Gold and Rose Gold seem attractive, n'est-ce pas?

It's a brushed/matte black. Finger prints may be visible but won't be as noticeable. I usually get either a otterbox or a tech21 case, since I do a lot of outdoor things where I can't avoid the rain. With the water resistance on this on I may try to go caseless.

ETA: Normally I get the silver version or the lighter version, I'm changing it up. I just hope I don't do what I did with the 4 and buy black only to decide on white later.

You're sorta the opposite of me. I didn't want to wait the extra 6 weeks that it was going to take the Apple store to get in the one I wanted, and went with Space Grey on the 6s. That with the case I use (12 South's BookBook), the gold actually would have looked better with it, especially if it had a gold screen protector on it (like the Zagg Luxe), as it would blend in nice with the leather on the inside of the case.

Both Jet Black, Black, and Gold work for me, as I'm also not afraid to go with white (my first iPhone was the iPhone 3G in white), so I'm still on the bubble.

I'm conflicted as well. I love my 6s actually the first new release I've gotten. I can upgrade every year with Verizon but not until October I think. I love new tech but I feel next year will be a better bet. Idk!!!!!

Jet Black (glossy) will be the only iphone that's not slippery as h*ll. Good luck keeping a 7+ from slipping out of your hand if you choose any of the matte finishes.... If you dare to go caseless.

I just bought the SE last month coming from iPhone 5 because it stopped working. Did I make a bad decision? a part of me regrets it when I could have gotten a iPhone 7 4.7" for $250 more.

how does my SE compare to the iPhone 7 4.7"?l

I bought the SE because it was a great price for the specs. And because I already owned an iPad mini 4, and an amazing compact camera in the Sony rx100m3

They are taking the water resistant crap to far, I think it's the lack of ideas other than that, the only improvement I see is the camera but if they have not changed the noise reduction algorithm and it's the same as in the 6/6S most likely will be the same thing only a different color.

The 6/6S cameras have implemented a noise reduction algorithm which in certain conditions give as an output photos with noise and washed out colors, users coming from previous series 5/5S know about this problem.

As an 6s owner I don't see any killer feature to upgrade.
