Can anyone confirm if the SE Gold color has the Rose Gold/pink tint to it like the Series 5 Gold or is it more yellow like the SS seen above? I prefer the yellow gold color like the Series 0 gold. I just received my Series 5 "Gold" aluminum and can't believe how pink it is. They should have labeled it Rose gold.

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what the aluminum looks like, it’s like a rose gold hue burn to it. Apples marketing photos don’t do a very good job depicting the color, as you almost have to see it in person. I’m not sure if purchased it without seeing in person or just based off the photos, but I agree, it’s very rose gold like.

I've already started the return process and will have to get in line for an SE at this point. Just want to confirm the SE Gold is the same or if they've reverted it back to the yellower gold color. Only other option is to go to Apple Store (if they're open?) to see for myself.

Definitely go see it for yourself if you can to your Apple store. Just make sure that they actually are open in your region or if they have any type of appointment needed. You can look at photos all day long on threads on here, but I think it’s probably best if you see it in person, you’ll know right away if it’s for you or not.

Another photo - I hope to have this watch for many years

Decisions decisions, too many choices.

I would look at it like this, the main differences of what you’re choosing aside from the colors would be the lighter weight of the aluminum and heft of the stainless with the sapphire display. Of course, the biggest differentiation, is the price tag itself, but you’re paying a higher premium for the stainless Apple Watch. I don’t trust the Ion-X Glass personally from experience with durability, the sapphire display has impressed me in many situations. But more importantly over everything else, it’s really what you like and what you prefer in terms of aesthetics.

Here’s my 40mm yellow gold SS series 6 paired with my link band. I ordered it with the gold ML band but I prefer my link band to the ML for me. My wrist are so tiny for the ML.

Thanks like your take

I tried the cypress green sport band today - while they green and gold is a beautiful and classic combo, I was surprised at how annoyed I was that the “pin” to size the band was silver stainless steel and my watch is gold. I will be returning the brand to get the Cypress Green loop (I already have the black loop).

I really wish Apple would make a Gold version of their link bracelet to go with this color. I am just not a fan of the Milanese loop and don't like how I constantly have to readjust it. Don't think it will ever happen but wow that would look great.

Looks beautiful. Mind sharing where you got that band? I'm seriously considering this new Gold but would want a link band like that but for the 44mm. Also, is it adjustable?

I love the new gold and how delicate it is. Some photos with turquoise, pink sand, stone and the new navy.
