I have the 9.7 pro and I'm considering returning it for the 12.9. I mostly use the device at home / sitting on a couch or in bed. I watch a shed load of video on my iPad and I have weird lag issues with the 9.7 - and safari tabs reloading.

The true tone turns itself off for the photos app, maybe other photo apps too not sure. Either way it has to be disabled. And the screen improvements for general consumption aren't exactly selects ulnar for photo editing.
The main use of the pencil for me is photo editing. And designing proposals with annotations etc.

The larger device is $100 more expensive than the smaller one right now - Best Buy has $100 off it.

I also transfer video via usb connector and it crawls on the smaller pro

That all said I would probably get the zagg slim case with it - and I wonder if I'll still find it too big.

I have a surface pro 3 i7 already and I like the size. I actually like the pro 4 keyboard too but I'll probably take the huge loss and sell that - then get s desktop Mac

I'm wondering g if anyone has both can comment how they handle typing in forums etc, I guess all keyboard all the time. I guess the worse case is ai change it for the big one. Then I prefer the small and exchange it back again. But that's a pain. I have very short amount of time left to,decide.

I am a launch day buyer of the 12.9" iPad Pro. I also ordered a 9.7" Pro to 'try it out,' 99% certain that I would be either returning the 9.7" or selling the 12.9".

Now I've had them both for two weeks, and can't see myself giving either one of them up. The smaller Pro is great for reading, typing while holding the device, couch surfing, and gaming. The bigger Pro is better for multitasking, typing out long papers and watching movies. They're both astounding at surfing the web.

I think I have to keep them both.

I've had the 12.9 since launch and absolutely love it. Use it at work all the time for various meetings, notes and accessing reports with Office365.

Now have a 9.7 as well to see if it would compliment the 12.9, or whether I'd prefer the more portable size, but I still much prefer the 12.9 for 90% of use cases - even for casual use at home.

Planning to keep the 9.7 for when travelling or any other occasions when pulling out the 12.9 would be too awkward, buts it's not getting much use so far...

I have both the iPad Pro 12.9" and the iPad Air 2. I am also having trouble getting rid of my smaller iPad. I haven't found myself using it a lot now that I have the bigger screen but when I do use it, I still enjoy it. I already have a MacBook Pro 13" and an iPhone 6s Plus so I am really trying to convince myself to sell the smaller iPad Air but it has been difficult!

I'm a person who would be bored by two apple tablets with the same interface and function so I have my large ipad pro 12.9 and a galaxy tab s2 9.7....therefore I have the largest premium tablet and the lightest thinnest premium 9.7 inch tablet out there....
