Anyone had a BTO Penryn MBP ship yet?

I'm afraid those which didn't ship yesterday are not going to actually ship until Sunday evening (US time). It's already Friday night in China and I don't think Fedex has any pickups on weekends. So looks like most of us will be getting our MBPs Tue-Wed of next week.
Well add me to the not yet shipped category.....ordered on Wednesday (was out of town on tuesday, dammit!)....base model with remote and usb modem.....first time mac owner who simply got pissed at vista......
Well actually today is the last day apple has a chance to ship mine according to their "days until the computer ships." So that thing better ship today or apple is going to have it!
yeah i reaaally hope apple gets it together... I need this computer to get here before spring break so I can finish my senior thesis on something that doesn't crash every few hours.
actually, does anyone here have experience w/ apple missing their ship by date? I know it's never a guarantee, but when I ordered I told them that I needed someone to tell me with a good degree of certainty it wouldn't be here later than March 6th, or I'd have to change the shipping address. would they upgrade me, maybe? never hurts to ask, i guess...

I did ($95.99). I went with OWC since everyone was recommending them. Crucial was sold out at the time as well. I checked out some of the ram at newegg, which was cheaper, but I ultimately went with OWC because of the many recommendations on this site. What about you?

Finally says prepared for shipment! I will be a first time mac owner and I cant wait! Already got the sleeve for it and I have been lurking forever but the last update convinced me to finally plunge in!

in regards to fedex in china, having spent a good amount of time there, a LOT of businesses are indeed open saturday; i wouldn't be surprised at all if fedex does saturday pickups there, and i know UPS definitely does. if your order was prep'd to ship, it probably will ship before monday.

what exactly did you get ?
mine was 15" matte 7200 512 2.5 w/ remote
EDIT: My order was prepared for shipment for the past 20 hours already...cant they send a messenger to drop it off at the local postal office already
I ordered mid-range 15 inch. glossy.
They ship it from China, so I guess if you are in US, you will have to check for changes in night? (may be?)

my 2.6 and 7200 now shows as shipped however on fedexs page it says recieved after fedex cutoff. Hopefully now that it is in fedex hands they will put it on a plane tommorrow!

My 2.4, 250gb, glossy has "left origin in Shanghai, CN." I've switched from checking the apple site, to checking Fed Ex now. I loves me some widget action.
I ordered mine off the UK store on Wednesday morning (27th) at 9am.

My 15"/2.4 flipped to 'Prepared for Shipment' sometime overnight. (Ordered at roughly 7am PST Tuesday)
Only custom options were remote + iWork preinstalled.
(I didn't realize they were going to be in stock at the Apple stores immediately, or I would have just picked it up there -- I think I could probably manage to get iWork installed myself )
I ordered VMWare fusion on the same order and it has already arrived.
