iphone 5 super sensitive keyboard

anyone else having typing issues? sometimes my typing seems too sensitive.
it types letters twice and when i delete a letter it deletes two, or more, or the whole word.
can this be a learning curve? mine or the phone?

Grr, this is the most annoying thing about the i5. I consciously have to slow down my typing

It's a hardware problem. I have the same issue. I've tried another iphone 5 and it exhibits NONE of these problems.

Was having the same problem here and I think I figured out what I was doing. This thing is so thin and light compared to my 4S in it's Incipio case, I was subconsciously not typing firm enough for fear I would break it.

thanks. I think I will go the apple store later and check some of the models out. I don't know if it is hardware though b.c it really only occurs when typing on websites (mac rumors for example)

I seem to notice it more on apps that haven't been redesigned for the iPhone 5. I've also noticed that the scrolling speed can sometimes be erratic & scroll really fast as if there's a sensitivity issue..

typing in a forum text box seems laggy for me. Do you get that?

I think it's the autocorrect. It just doesn't work like it used to. And it also depends on the app you are in too. Seems like a software issue.

For me it's definitely the bottom left area of keyboard on non-iPhone 5 apps that's the issue..

The random super fast scrolling is more of a concern though. One swipe can be totally normal, the next I can inadvertently zoom up/down multiple pages!
