Yeah it is getting boring. It is mature, it is not going to change for change's sake the way some less mature OS's are.

Who cares? The content and people I access using the OS are supposed to entertain me, not the OS itself.

Really wishing iOS7 will have a major UI overhaul. Apple needs this to keep succeeding. Android is far, far outpacing them with its UI.

I love my iPhone 5 and everything but if iOS7 and maybe (if I last that long) 8 don't carry any significant overhauls, then I'll just assume what I suspected all along: Apple ran out of things to think about and their era of creativity is over. It died with Steve.

I just hope they dial back on the gloss and pinstripes in the OS. Maybe try a different color scheme, but there's too much that feels over designed. In comparison to Metro, I see a lot of unnecessary visual weight.

android UI hasn't changed either. you still have the app tray and the 7 screens of short cuts/widgets

Not really, no. After the novelty wore off I really don't care that much about finding problems with the operating system and nitpicking them to hell. iOS works perfectly fine, and for the functionalities that weren't there but I want/need I installed via Cydia. Boom. Now it's fine :)

Sad huh. Kinda shows how crappy it's become, when it only take a month to see everything this site has to offer.

You can't see everything this site has to offer, ever, because what's on offer here changes every day. However, posting that you've seen it all after a month could possibly be part of why others might decide the place is getting annoying, if not boring.

As far as the iOS goes, I don't see how any OS gets boring, unless it crashes in some reproducible way that has not been fixed for five further releases. That sort of thing does get old. But an OS is just meant to support your applications. Get a new wallpaper! ;)

OS innovation is secondary. It just needs to be stable and bug free while enabling application developers to continue designing innovated applications.

The OS is just a tool. Getting bored with it is like saying you're bored with a hammer.

My only issue with iOS is that it's not nearly polished enough. There are many bugs that need addressing, maps is a disaster, and many of the new features are poorly or haphazardly implemented.

Yeah, but I want it to be Thor's hammer :D

How would you bored people have survived before the Industrial Revolution, where the latest things available to most people were not much different from the things available to people's parents and grandparents? Maybe the chalk tablet you used in school every year was even just one passed down from them.

It is a very very good os and works well
I don't know how it could be changed, but sometimes I do feel it could do with a drastic change, just to keep it interesting
